  • Cutting force generation in ball-end milling by evolutionary programming

    The paper presents the development and analysis of an efficient, evolutionary, intelligent, genetic modeling method for cutting forces in ball-eng milling. An evolutionary method that uses genetic ... programming approaches is proposed. In the genetic model, all the influencing parameters influencing the size of cutting forces during milling are considered. The presented model can be used in flexible manufacturing for reduction of the total machining time, for the increase of accuracy, reliability, productivity and for decreasing the machining costs. The goal of the paper is the development of mathematical equations for the cutting force in ball-end milling process with genetic programming.
