Uporaba biodizelskaga goriva v avtobusnem dizelskem motorju

The paper delals with the usage of of biodiesel fuel in a bus diesel engine. Attention is focused on the influence of biodiesel on the engine characteristics. The experimental testing was performed ...on an NA diesel bus engine MAN D2566MUM. The tested biodiesel is produced from rapeseed oil. The tested parameters, such as power, torque, temperature of exhaust gases, harmful emissions, and specific fuel consumption are compared to those obtained with mineral diesel. The analysis of biodiesel characteristics shows that the biodiesel enables low harmful emissions by relatively small and expensive modifications of the tested bus engine.
