  • Influence of national legislation on noise descriptors [Elektronski vir]
    Prezelj, Jurij, strojnik ...
Noise descriptors Ld, Le, Ln and Lden are defined in European legislation. They are based on measured values of LAeq, and on few corrections. Corrections usually incorporate time duration adjustment, ... correction for evening and night period, and corrections for tonal and impulse characteristics of noise. Values of correction factors are defined in national legislations in international standards. Values of corrections differ from country to country and they might change with time. Type of corrections and correction values are compared for few European countries. European countries harmonized their legislation according to the EU directive relating to the assessment and management of environmental noise. In this article it is demonstrated, how changes in national legislation with corresponding guidelines for calculation of time weighting, tonality adjustment and impulsive noise adjustment influenced the values of noise descriptors in Slovenia. The difference between new and previous legislation results in changed values of noise descriptors for the same noise sources. A theoretical case is presented together with more practical measurement results from 4 different laboratories from across the Slovenia.
