Natural zeolite nanoparticles implemented by ultrasound onto PET fabric for better UV protection [Elektronski vir]Tarbuk, Anita ; Grancarić, Ana-Marija ; Majcen Le Marechal, AlenkaZaradi nizke sposobnosti absorpcije vode niso oblačila iz poliestre tekstilije na osnovi poli(etilen-tereftalata) najbolj udobna. Zato so potrebne površinske obdelave kot npr.: aminoliza, hidroliza ... in obdelava z zeolitom, s čimer izboljšamo udobje in druge lastnosti, potrebne za oblačila. Pri konvencionalni obdelavi z EDA (aminoliza) in z NaOH (hidroliza) nastanejo ogromne količine tekstilnih odpadnih vod. Naraščajoča skrb za okolje, povezana z ohranitvijo naravnih virov, je usmerila raziskave k iskanju alternativnih, ekološko usmerjenih tehnologij in procesov, ki bodo vplivali na zmanjšanje porabe vode in energije ter preprečili emisijo škodljivih snovi v okolje. Iz omenjenih razlogov so trenutno mokri tekstilni procesi ob uporabi ultrazvoka izredno zanimivi in obetajoči za tekstilno industrijo. Naš prispevek prikazuje rezultate uporabe ultrazvoka pri aplikaciji zeolitnih nanodelcev na poliestrno tekstilno površino z namenom doseganja boljših lastnosti pri UV zaščiti. V ta namen smo z ultrazvokom modificirali PET tekstilijo za letna oblačila in sicer ob prisotnosti (različne koncentracije) oziroma odsotnosti aktiviranih nanodelcev naravnega zeolita. Znano je, da je UV zaščita odvisna od odboja, adsorpcije in transmisije UV sevanja, vendar prav tako od lastnosti vlaken in tekstilije, od samega mokrega procesa (npr.: barvanja, optičnih beljenja itd). Zato smo stopnjo modifikacije PET tekstilije z UZ proučevali s pomočjo FTIR-ATR. Prav tako smo določili stopnjo absorpcije optičnega belila in UV zaščite.
