Zdravstveno varstvo otrok v starosti 0-6 let = Health care services for children aged 0-6 years

Data on medical staff supply and results of periodic medical examinations are presented in a conventional way. Data on health visits and examinations conducted in pre-school children health care and ...in other primary health care services, as well as reasons for these visits are derived from the computerized report on out-patient health care services (ZUBSTAT). ZUBSTAT allows for an analysis of visits reported for all pre-school health care services and other primary health care services by age and by the type of service provided. Data on curative and preventive visits in health care services for pre-school children, health services for children and youth, and in general practice are presented in Tables 6-3 and 6-4. Periodic and special purpose preventive visits are for the first time presented in more detail, andare grouped in preventive visits at the level of pre-school health care forall age groups (Table 6-8), and preventive visits of children aged 0-6 years conducted in all primary health care services. Table 6-9 shows the proportion 3-year-olds and 5-year-olds who had periodic health examinations. Figures 6-1 to 6-5 show the supply of physicians, nurses and health technicians, the proportion of curative and preventive visits of children by the type of primary health service provided, and the proportion of 3 year-oldsand 5 year-olds receiving periodic preventive care. Causes of visits by the ICD-10 chapter are presented in Table 4-2. Tables 4-5 to 4-7 show thesedata in more detail, Including five most frequent diagnoses for each ICD-10 chapter, separately for infants, 1-3 year-olds and 4-6-year olds.
