Background. Law on communicable diseases LCD (Official Gazette 69/95) determines general and special measures of protection against communicable diseases such as disinfection, desinsection and ...deratization - DDD. In its 8thparagraph the law determines obligatory notification and report of communicable diseases and the ones necessitating the implementation of generaland special measures respectively. So far LCD does not identify communicable diseases requiring DDD. The paper presents a list of communicablediseases requiring the implementation of DDD. Conclusion. The listof the communicable diseases, requiring the measures of DDD, should be issued as national guidelines.
