In the Dinaric region of Slovenia (Kočevski Rog) a special type of beech forest were researched and classified into the association Isopyro-Fagetum Košir 1962. A new name Isopyro-Fagetum var. geogr. ...Dentaria polyphylla (Ž. Košir 1979) Marinček, P. Košir & Šilc 2001 for doubtphully described (geographical) variant Isopyro-Fagetum Ž. Košir 1962 var. Arum maculatum Ž. Košir 1979 is proposed. Stands in Kočevski Rog were classified into pre-Dinaric geographical variant as special subunit, new geographical subvariant Isopyro-Fagetum var. geogr. Dentaria polyphyla (Ž. Košir 1979) Marinček, P. Košir & Šilc 2001 subvar. geogr. Rhamnus fallax subvar. geogr.nova. Geographical subvariant was divided into subassociation lunarietosum redivivae and further into the variant with Allium ursinum and the variant with Acer pseudoplatanus.
