    The present article includes a part of the complex evaluation of 90 different maiye genotzpes from the genetic bank from Department of Agronomz BF in Ljubljana. The contents of the most ... phzsiologicallz important parameters were analzsed: protein, fat, starch, SK-fiber, EG-fiber (soluble, insoluble and total), apparent and total amzlose fractions and fattz acids fractions. Stastical treatment of the results revealed that the analzsed maiye genotzpes differ in the content of analzsed parameters. The ranging method of the most important 9 parameters gave the best results for the following genotzpes: L88,L83, T70, S26 and L79; three of them were flint, and two were dent; three of them were selected self bred Lj-lines, one was foreign genotzpe and one wasSlovene genotzpe. According to the analzsis of maiye oil qualitz parametersthe genotzpes S23, S24, B7, S48 and S49 were given the best rates. With regard to the content of protein, soluble fiber and fraction of amzlose the highest ranged genotzpes belonged to four selected self bred Lj-lines L77,L88, L86, L89 and one Slovene genotzpes G45. So, the importance of the selection and knowledge of all parameters for the following breading and selection are confirmed.
