Estimation of DC motor parametrs using deterministic signals

In this article we are going to describe a parameter estimation method for a DC motor connected across a three phase full-wave thyristor converter. Our parameter estimation is based on the ...manipulation of measured armature current and voltage mean values and motor's speed of rotation. This method of estimation makes use of Euler's method for solving differential equation systems. We are going to demonstrate our method by simulation on digital computer and thereafter suggest its use in adaptive control of a DC motor aided by a realtime microcomputer.
