The Cancer registry of Slovenia, a special service for collecting and processing the data on cancer in Republic Slovenia, is presented in my diplomathesis as an element of the health service ... information system. Detaileddescription of the work in the Registry as well as the implemented actions for its rationalization are presented. The use of electronic cancer registry forms for data sent from hospital information systems is presented asan additional ability for rationalization of work in Registry.
