Liquid high voltage impulse dividers

This report describes the design and testing of two kinds of liquid impulse voltage dividers used to measure high voltage impulses with high rate of rise time. Because of a special structure design ...and the use of a low resistivity aqueous solution of CH[sub]3COONa it is easy to control the stability of the voltage division ratio and decrease the rise time of the voltage measuring system. From the high voltage and response time tests, we conclude that the rise of both kinds of voltage divider is stable for different high voltage impulse amplitudes.
