Bioreactor design for lipase catalyzed reactions in dense gasesKrmelj, Vlasta ...A kinetic model that describes the esterification of oleic acid and oleyl alcohol catalyzed with lipase from Rhizomucor miehei in supercritical carbon dioxide has been constructed. The ... Michaelis-Menten constant ▫$K_m$▫ and maximal velocity ▫$V^{max}$▫ were estimated by fitting the model with experimental data obtained under various process conditions. The model has been extended for the immobilized enzyme system by taking into account that there is no mass transfer resistance.
