The correlation with indoor environment parameters and current feeling of employees in air-conditioned offices

The impact of the indoor environment on the health of employees was studied. The thermal environment and air quality parameters were measured. An extensive survey on working conditions, health and ...health problems of employees, and feeling of well-being at work was carried out. Analysis of the thermal environment and air quality parameters showed that all measured parameters are as prescribed in technical regulations and standards. But, the survey answers of employees indicate dissatisfaction with indoor environment and as consequence the troubles on occupants health. As a main reason for health troubles the questionnaired employees have mentioned unsuitable ventilation of working places, unsatisfactory indoor air quality, maintenance, cleaning, etc. The factors seem to have also an influence on health and feeling of stress at work, such as the level of regard for one's work, motivation, the meaning of the work for the individual, and the perspective of the individual.
