Behandlung von Kreuzschmerzen im Heilbad Moravske Toplice

The efficacy of physical therapy for patients suffering from low back pain was assessed by the following parameters: measurement of the mobility of the spine (<0,05), visual analogous pain scale ...(p<0,001), graded index of spinal disorder (severity index) (p<0,05), frequency of sleep disturbances caused by noturnal pain (<0,001). It is a fact, that people are suffering of back pain mainly during their most productive years. The importance of some risk factors e.g. profession, work performance, weight, lenght of service etc. are discussed. The authors conclusion for best prevention of low back pain is early detection of risk factors, maintenance of physial activity and regular use of physical treatment modalities.
