VR-VI: visualization of geographical data with VRML

Over past years we have witnessed the growth of importance of the three-dimensional visualization techniques. Especially steep progress experienced the three dimensional simulation over the Internet ...with the help of VRML as its subsection. Thet progress and ease-to-use feature led us to incorporate VRML into process of developing product model in civil engineering. The paper introduces the Java based product VR-Vi developed to significantly increase productivity in civil engineering. VR-Vi is described and two examples of usage are added.
