Modeling of small break accident of Krško NPP using Melcor [Elektronski vir]

The severe accident including loss of coolant scenario for different break sizes on the cold leg (on the pressurizer side) using computer program MELCOR 1.8.3 was modeled. MELCOR is state of the art ...program maintained by United States Nuclear Regulatory Commission and is currently used at University of Maribor to assess some of the accident sequences. Several results shows the influence of break size on the RCS, behaviour of Krsko NPP and containment arepresented. Attention was also given to the source term.
