The document reports on some findings and characteristics of the process and of the material transfer in metal gas-shielded arc welding with twin and triple electrode. A preliminary comparison of the ...results obtained in strip electrode welding and submerged arc welding with the results of other researches is made. It is concluded, on the base of the number of droplets and melting rate, that the efficiency of heat input in the arc in gas-shielded arc welding with twin and triple electrode is higher than in welding with single wire, in submerged arc welding with multiple electrode and in gas-shielded arc welding with a strip electrode.
