Floods are one of the natural disasters causing large economic damage and have therefore significant impact on society. The Danube river and its basin is an important region of Europe and floods ... occured in the Danube basin through whole history. Flood frequency analysis are one of the most commonly used hydrologic procedures used to analyse the recurrence of floods and their return periods and to estimate design variables. Both univariate and multivariate analysis can be used in that regard.
