  • Izpeljava seča po radikalni cistektomiji zaradi raka sečnega mehurja = Urinary diversion after radical cystectomy
    Sedmak, Boris
Radical cystectomy is standard and most successful treatment for muscle invasive non metastatic bladder carcinoma. Despite improved operative technique, it is still demanding procedure. After ... cystectomy the most appropriate urinary diversion has to be selected. Incontinent urinary diversions are technically less demanding with lower complication rates but they are less comfortable, requiring external urinary collecting appliaces. Continent urinary diversions are appropriate for selected patients, and are more comfortable, the procedures are technically more challenging with higher complication rates than those involving collecting devices.
