  • Pravilen pristop k poškodovancu z opeklinsko rano s strani zdravstvenih reševalcev v prehospitalnem okolju : diplomsko delo visokošolskega strokovnega študijskega programa prve stopnje zdravstvena nega
    Krajnc, Leon, zdravstvo
Theoretical starting points: Medical rescuers in emergency rescue aid (NMP) are faced with various internist diseases and injuries on a daily basis, and consequently with emergency interventions in a ... pre-hospital setting. Rarely they are faced with injuries where there are burn wounds. The purpose of the thesis work is to present the correct approach to the injured person with a burn wound by medical rescuers in a pre-hospital environment. Method: We used a quantitative method of work. In order to collect data, a questionnaire with 24 questions of all types was used as an instrument. We created it on the base of a review of the literature. The pattern was random. The research was conducted among 54 medical rescuers in rescue services in the northeastern part of Slovenia. The survey was conducted in February 2018. We statistically processed the data and presented the results of the survey. Results: Based on the analysis of the results, we found that medical rescuers do not have adequate knowledge about the care of injured persons with burn wounds in a pre-hospital environment. Discussion: The research shows that medical rescuers are not able to properly provide the victim with a burn wound, which can be fatal for the survival of such an injured person. As medical rescuers are aware of the lack of knowledge about the treatment of a victim with a burn wound, they want to have more education.
