Zmanjšanje poligonskega efekta verižnih gonil z uporabo kardanskega zgloba

It is known that the polygonal effect is one of the greatest weaknesses of chain drives because it makes the chain speed non-uniform. Its influence on the operation conditions of chain drives is ...significant in the case of a small number gear teeth or large pitch of chain members. In this paper the possibility of reducing the chain drive polygonal effect by using a single Cardan joint is presented. If the single Cardan joint is incorporated together with the appropriate gear box into the drive train of the chain drive, the polygonal effect can be reduced up to three times if the number of sprocket teeth is small.
