Electromagnetic field mitigation by overhead line tower designs with additional wires in function of a passive loop

The paper deals with possibilities of electric and magnetic fields mitigation near double circuit 400 kV overhead power lines by using additional shield wires and compensation conductors. Mainly ...separate physical designs of passiveloops and overhead lines have been proposed and analyzed up to now. From the point of view of environmental constraints this implies putting in space of two structures. Nowadays it is very difficult to get a right-of-way even for a single overhead line. So, we shaH focus on how to unite power transmission elements and field mitigation elements on the same tower. New complex tower designs are shown and corresponding electric and magnetic fieldsare calculated and analysed.
