  • A new perspectives on business decision making

    ǂThe ǂoperation of business systems can be significantly improved by appropriate business decision making. Also, the formation and application of a suitable model have an impact on the quality of ... decision making. Based on the systems examination we can form a holistic model of decision making. Its fundamental characteristics are: application of a generally valid model of the process (process model), consideration of a majority of important factors, and the aspects of examination. The necessary holism is enabled by consideration of those formal (having to do with the system's nature) and informal factors (impacting on the decision making) in the business system and in its environment. We try to assure complexity and holism by consideration of the three basic aspects of decision making (business success, ethics, image). The core factor of the economic evaluation of the business system is the financial performance. Ethics is used to judge the moral adequacy of the business decision making. The image provides the assessment of the decision soundness from the aspect of the decisive behavior.
