Some special geodetic solutions used in measurements during the reconstruction of hydroelectric power stations

The turbines of three hydro-electric power stations on the River Drava are currently undergoing renewal works. A description is given of the various surveying tasks involved in the dismantling of the ...old turbines and assembly of the new ones. Some of the geodetic works which have been carried out as part of the modernization of the chain of Drava hydro-electric power stations,as well as those yet to be performed, required specific solutions where the desired measurement accuracy had to be achieved within very limites areas. Some of these works are described in the paper
