  • Vplivi kjotskega protokola na logistične transportne stroške v oskrbni verigi
Knez, Matjaž, 1975- ; Rosi, Bojan
250 years after the invention of the steam engine, the economic development is still based on an intensive increase in energy use. If the same amount of energy resources is to be used in the future, ... the needs for energy will increase drastically. It is therefore high time to reduce environmental pollution and replace it with the rational use of energy resources. This also applies to traffic, as it is one of the biggest producers of greenhouse gases as well as a factor that on the one hand enables a contemporary, mobile way of life, on the other hand, however, lowers the quality of life. Recently, we have also witnessed a rapid increase in oil prices. Fuel costs in households, transport and logistics companies incur great costs that threaten the efficiency and successful business operations in that particular sector. This article aims to emphasize the importance of optimal planning of transporting goods that is - due to their direct and indirect influence on the environment - so intensely controlled by the numerous EU regulations and international environmental agreements. The common goal of these measures is a simpler and holistic realisation of energy and environmental policy. One of the key agreements from the field of the environment is the Kyoto protocol.
