This article describes speciality of electrical tests needed for certification and safe usage of explosion - proof electric motors. Explosion-proof electric motors must meet all safety regulations ...and standards. One of the most widely used explosion-proof protection is flameproof, which is also described. A measuring site for testing explosion -proof motors, along with some special test is described. In conclusion a tested explosion - proof motor is analysed and ranked into its temperature class.
