Odnos med plastično deformacijo in krhkim lomom v karbonsko permskih mehkih kameninah po preseženi vrhunski trdnosti : doktorska disertacija = After post-peak strength relation between ductile and brittle deformations in Carboniferous Permian soft rocks : Ph. D. thesisOcepek, Dragotin, 1957-The dissertation contains the results of examinations, analyses and measurements and back analyses of characteristics mixed soft rocks done for retaining and supporting structures of the highway ... sections Trojane-Blagovicaand Blagovica- Kompolje. Numerical back analyses were made in three dimension scales: mineralogical petrographic specimens in micro-scale, in the scale of borehole samples and in the scale land-sliding slopes. The time influence on the changes of the stress strain state on the physically behavior of Carboniferous-Permian mixed soft rocks mass was defined. The most important in this process are preexisting weak soft rock zones. As a result of the suction process of pore water pressure dissipation out of the micro cracks (dilatation suction and dissipation) viscous creeping develops. The failure mechanism was decided by back analyses of the deformations after peak strength in microscopic scale of mineralogical petrographic specimens, taken from triaxial shear tests. In silt-stones these were developed as brittle fractures that were followed by ductile deformations in clay stones. In the micro cracks of stiff parts of mixed softrocks during the simulation of loading higher pore pressures appeared than in the soft parts of it. Due to the high speed of crack propagations in the brittle fractures shear deformations were a few times bigger than ductile deformations. In the main cracks the tip-slide hyper elastic region developed and the multitudes of micro cracks were expanding faster than main crack slide. The stress energy included pore-pressures arises in the contact of softer parts of rock; with the distance of interfaces it had decreased and oppress. During the simulation of the genesis of soft clay shale in the micro folded rock and micro cracks the same failure mechanism was found out by method of computation in the present and past stress in the ground. The process of self-sealing is possible as long as the deformations are small and in the softer parts of rock mass where are oppress. Higher volumetric and distortion deformations appear after quite a long period of time after unloading of the excavations works. Finally, gradual structural degradation cause sliding of the alterated degradated soft rock mass while this soft rockmass gets characteristics of the saturated residual soft soil and few particles and parts of the "in situ" soft rocks. Microscopic deformations that appeared after the change of the stress state were precisely modeled by the use of nonlinear hyperbolic numerical model. Unloading states after the excavation process and later rock mass relaxation revealed by hardening or softening were correctly modeled by the use of kinematical hardening numerical model (Plaxis "HS" - Hardening Soil model). Program Plaxis "Soft Soil Creep" is able to correctly model the time influence on the great scale deformations in the conditions of critical state of the slopes that could start sliding of the alterated soft rock to residual saturated soft soil. During the execution of works and after, the technical observation of the objects, deep cutting slopes and sliding slopes was the basis of parametrical back numerical analyses that has confirmed my choice of constitutive models in regard to the changes of the physical characteristics and strength deformation characteristics of Carboniferous-Permian mixed soft rocks in a longer time period.Type of material - dissertationPublication and manufacture - Ljubljana : [D.
