Bu çalışmanın amacı; insan uygarlığının eriştiği bilimsel ve teknolojik birikimin bir sonucu olarak gündeme gelen ve son zamanlarda sıklıkla tartışılmaya başlanan Endüstri 4.0 (4. Sanayi Devrimi) ...kavramını irdelemek ve tekstil üretim süreçlerine yapacağı olası etkileri tartışarak farkındalık yaratmaktır. Bunun için ilk olarak Endüstri 4.0 kavramının tarihsel gelişimi, bileşenleri ve temel özellikleri üzerinde durulmuş, insan yaşamına ve üretim süreçlerine yapması beklenen etkiler değerlendirilmiştir. Ardından, tekstil üretim süreçlerinde Endüstri 4.0 açısından mevcut durum ortaya konulmuş, tekstil endüstrisinde gözlenen geleceğe dönük eğilimler tartışılmıştır. Sonuç olarak; Endüstri 4.0 kavramının, tüm diğer endüstri dallarında olduğu gibi tekstil sektöründe de tüm paydaşlarca dikkatle takip edilmesi, anlaşılması ve uyum çalışmalarına bir an önce başlanması gereken bir olgu olduğu kanısına varılmıştır.

In this study, the electromagnetic interference (EMI) and ultraviolet–infrared (UV–IR) shielding behavior of wool (WO) and cotton/elastane (CO/EL) nanocomposite fabrics have been investigated. The ...study aims to investigate the EMI and UV–IR shielding performance of the CO/EL and wool-based fabrics coated with carbon (C), graphite (Gr), and indium (In) nanocomposite layers. To produce nanocomposite fabric samples, these three materials were used in different compositions and the coating processes were carried out by electron cyclotron resonance (ECR) and thermal evaporation methods. Subsequently, the EMI and UV–IR measurements were performed for the coated fabric samples, and the results have been analyzed. In this study, it has been proven for the first time that the ECR coating method can be used for coating fabrics as a textile material. Finally, it is found that the C+Gr(grid filled)+In wool sample and the carbon-coated CO/EL sample have widely exhibited a significant positive effect on increasing the EMI shielding performance in the range of 18–43 and 12–18 GHz frequencies, respectively. In addition, the results show that the C+Gr(grid)+C-coated CO/EL fabric has significant potential to increase the UV–IR shielding performance.

Bu çalışmada, metal kompozit şönil iplik üretimi gerçekleştirilmiş ve bu ipliklerden örme kumaş üretilerek performans özellikleri araştırılmıştır. Şönil ipliğin kararlı yapısını oluşturan bağ ...iplikleri, gümüş kaplı poliamid filament ile pamuk ipliğinin katlanıp bükülmesi yoluyla üretilmiştir. Elde edilen kompozit iplikler örülerek kumaş haline getirilmiş, karşılaştırma amacıyla %100 pamuk ipliğinden kontrol kumaşı da üretilmiştir. Numunelerin aşınma dayanımı, dairesel eğilme direnci, elektriksel direnci ve antibakteriyel aktivitesinin belirlenmesi için gerekli testler yapılmıştır. Kompozit kumaş ile kontrol kumaşından elde edilen sonuçlar karşılaştırılmış ve değerlendirilmiştir. Kompozit kumaş örneğinin kontrol kumaş örneğinden 6 kat fazla aşınma dayanımına sahip olduğu, daha düşük yüzey özdirenci gösterdiği ve yapısında gümüş kullanılmasına karşın antibakteriyel özellik göstermediği bulgusuna ulaşılmıştır.

In this study, it is aimed to investigate Electromagnetic Shielding Interference (EMI) and Ultraviolet-Infrared (UV-IR) shielding behavior of nanocomposite textile fabrics produced by using Electron ...Cyclotron Resonance (ECR) and Thermal Evaporation methods together. For this purpose, Kevlar and polyester/elastane (PES/EL) fabric samples are coated with carbon, graphite, ZnO, and indium in different compositions and structures. Then, EMI shielding and UV-IR absorption performance of the samples are measured and analyzed. As a result, multiple nano-transition layers having different refractive indices formed on the coated surfaces improve the EMSE and UV-IR shielding performance. It is concluded that the carbon + graphite + ZnO coated Kevlar samples provides best EMI shielding performance. The highest EMSE values greater than 80 dB are obtained at six frequencies in the 15-60 GHz range. It is observed that the best coating quality is also produced on the same fabric sample. It is also found that the EMI shielding performance of Carbon coated Kevlar sample is significantly higher than the Carbon coated PES/EL sample. The UV-IR analysis shows that the carbon or/and ZnO coating on Kevlar fabric and the indium coating on PES/EL fabric have significant effect to improve UV/IR shielding properties. The carbon coated Kevlar fabric increases the absorption efficiency by 11.11% and the carbon + graphite + ZnO coated sample by 13.45% compared to the uncoated fabric. For the PES/EL samples, the carbon coating increases the absorption efficiency by 2.3% and the In coating by 12.6% compared to the uncoated fabric. Consequently, the carbon + graphite + ZnO nanocomposite coated Kevlar fabric (∼ 3.5 a.u.) has consistently and significantly higher absorption performance than the In coated PES/EL fabric (∼ 3.0 a.u.) in the 400-1200 nm. So, it has been concluded that the specific structure of the fabric to be coated is as effective as coating material.

Mixture spinning aims to bring together the best properties of two or more fiber types into one single yarn. In mixture spinning, while some fiber types have impacts to increase the yarn strength, ...the other fiber types may have impacts to improve the yarn unevenness values. In this study, it is aimed to obtain a regression model that predicts the unevenness (CVm%) of polyester/viscose/acrylic (PES/CV/PAN)-blended OE-rotor spun yarns. For this purpose, the methods of statistical analysis as analysis of variance and Combined Analysis were used. In the context of experimental design, basic parameters affecting the yarn unevenness were selected as: the type of fiber mixture (by carding machine or drawframe), blend ratio (from 0 to 100% at five different rates), and the yarn count (24, 30 and 36 tex). As a result, a statistically significant (p = 0.05) model has been established to estimate the unevenness of PES/CV/PAN blended OE-rotor yarns. In addition, two-dimensional surface graphics have been created to view CVm% values according to the fiber ratios in ternary mixtures. For all of the yarn samples, the increase in acrylic ratio has been found to have positive impact on the CVm% values.

This study focused on predicting tensile properties of PES/CV/PAN blended Open-End Rotor yarns. The effective factors were fiber blend ratios (six stages from 0 to 100%), linear density (three count ...levels), mixing method (carding machine and drawframe), and number of passages in drawframe (one and two times) as production parameters. We performed a stepwise multiple linear regression (MLR) analysis and established an artificial neural network (ANN) model that trained with backpropagation rule as Levenberg-Marquardt. Then, we conducted a comparative analysis for both models in terms of prediction performance. As a result, ANN has given a slightly better prediction values than MLR for breaking strength but significantly better prediction values for breaking elongation.
