A Study on the Communication Mode of Hakka TV - From the Viewpoint of Public Communication of Habermas
Abstract
Hakka TV is the first terrestrial TV channel ...established specifically for a designated group. This was also the first positive response from the authority since the Hakka people called the activity of “The Return of Mother Language” into action in 1988. The Hakka people can finally make use of the media closely to plan, produce and broadcast the television programs from the point of views of Hakka families; at the same time, Hakka TV is also endowed with the significant mission in the transmission of Hakka language as well as Hakka culture. Nevertheless, through the mission statement of Hakka TV: “Based on the care in the Hakka ethnic group and the public access to the media, Hakka TV should contribute to learning and understanding Hakka language and cultural connotation, encourage the interflow and harmony among different ethnic groups, and construct the spirits of c
CMOS active mixer based on voltage control load technique which can operate at 1.0 V supply voltage was proposed, and its operation principle, noise and linearity analysis were also presented. ...Contrary to the conventional Gilbert-type mixer which is based on RF current-commutating, the load impedance in this proposed mixer is controlled by the LO signal, and it has only two stacked transistors at each branch which is suitable for low voltage applications. The mixer was designed and fabricated in 0.18 μm CMOS process for 2.4 GHz ISM band applications. With an input of 2.44 GHz RF signal and 2.442 GHz LO signal, the measurement specifications of the proposed mixer are: the conversion gain (
G
C
) is 5.3 dB, the input-referred third-order intercept point (
P
IIP3
) is 4.6 dBm, the input-referred 1 dB compression point (
P
1dB
) is −7.4 dBm, and the single-sideband noise figure (
N
FSSB
) is 21.7 dB.

The optimal path planning for fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in multi-target surveillance tasks (MTST) in the presence of wind is concerned. To take into account the minimal turning ...radius of UAVs, the Dubins model is used to approximate the dynamics of UAVs. Based on the assumption, the path planning problem of UAVs in MTST can be formulated as a Dubins traveling salesman problem (DTSP). By considering its prohibitively high computational cost, the Dubins paths under terminal heading relaxation are introduced, which leads to significant reduction of the optimization scale and difficulty of the whole problem. Meanwhile, in view of the impact of wind on UAVs’ paths, the notion of virtual target is proposed. The application of the idea successfully converts the Dubins path planning problem from an initial configuration to a target in wind into a problem of finding the minimal root of a transcendental equation. Then, the Dubins tour is derived by using differential evolution (DE) algorithm which employs random-key encoding technique to optimize the visiting sequence of waypoints. Finally, the effectiveness and efficiency of the proposed algorithm are demonstrated through computational experiments. Numerical results exhibit that the proposed algorithm can produce high quality solutions to the problem.

To develop a microbe-based bioremediation strategy for cleaning up thorium-contaminated sites, we have investigated the biosorption behavior and mechanism of thorium on Bacillus sp. dwc-2, one of the ...dominant species of bacterial groups isolated from soils in Southwest China. Thorium biosorption depended on the p H of environment, and its rapid biosorption reached a maximum of up to 10.75 mg Th per gram of the bacteria(wet wt.) at pH 3.0. The biosorption agreed bettter with Langmuir isotherm model than Freundlich model, indicating that thorium biosorption was a monolayer adsorption. The thermodynamic parameters, negative change in Gibbs free energy and positive value in enthalpy and entropy, suggested that the biosorption was spontaneous, more favorable at higher temperature and endothermic process with an increase of entropy. Scanning electron microscopy(SEM) indicated that thorium initially binded with the cell surface, while transmission electron microscopy(TEM) revealed that Th deposited in the cytoplasm and served as cores for growth of element precipitation(e.g., phosphate minerals) or by self-precipitation of hydroxides, which is probably controlled by ion-exchange, as evidenced by particle induced X-ray emission(PIXE) and enhanced proton backscattering spectrometry(EPBS). Fourier Transform Infrared(FTIR) further indicated that thorium biosorption involved carboxyl and phosphate groups and protein in complexation or electrostatic interaction. Overall results indicated that a combined electrostatic interaction-complexation-ion exchange mechanism could be involved in thorium biosorption by Bacillus sp. dwc-2.
The Lower Permian Shanxi (山西) Formation is one of the main gas-bearing stratio graphic units in northeastern Ordos (鄂尔多斯) Basin, China. Based on an integrated investigation of well logs, cores, and ...outcrop, we delineated the sedimentary facies of the lower member of the Shanxi Formation and divided the succession into three third-order sequences from base to top as SQ1, SQ2, and SQ3. The lower region of Shanxi Formation was deposited in the following sedimentary facies or subfacies: subaqueous braided channel, subaqueous interdistributary, mouth bar, swamp and shelf in the Daniudi (~z~=J~) Gas Field and braided channel, and shelf and lake at Heidaigon (~J) outcrop. Braided-river deposits form the lowstand systems tract (LST) in each sequence. Braided channels mark the sequence boundaries at Heidaigou outcrop. A shelf and lake depositional environment with dark gray mudstone forms the transgressive systems tract (TST). The location where dark gray mudstone first appears above the braided channel marks the first flooding surface (FFS), and the end of that marks the maximum flooding surface (MFS). The highstand systems tract (HST) deposits are fine-grained sediments with an aggradational parasequence at Heidaigou outcrop and swamp coalbed in the Daniudi Gas Field. Mouth-bar sand bodies in braided delta front, which form the LST in each sequence, form excellent reservoirs in the Daniudi Gas Field.
