This study is investigation the application of polymeric liquids as high temperture stationary phase for gas chromatograhy. The polymeric ionic liquids systhesis steps was ...following, the imidazole reacted with 1-bromo-6-chlorohexane to form the monomer first. The monomers were placed in ethylene glycol for self-polymerization, then 1-vinylimidazole was added for terminal group modification. Lithium bis (trifluoromethanesulfon) imide was added for anion exchange. Finally, azobisisobutyronitrile was added for free radical cross linking.
The structures of monomer and polymer was determination by nuclear magnetic resonance. The phane change was observed by differential scanning calorimetry. The molecular weight of polymer was determination by gel permeation chromatography. For the column test, a gas chromatography with flame ionization detector was used for compounds separation evaluation. Several types compounds were used for test, including alkanes (C8~C40), alcohols, PAHs, benzenes and

This study investigated whether university students’ expectations for career
development would vary by experience of participation in sports clubs. Specifically, this
study ...aimed to : (1) factors affecting their participation in sports clubs; (2) benefits of
participation in sports clubs; (3) effects of participation in sports club on career
development; and (4) whether participation in sports clubs could help them attain their
ultimate career goals. Based on a qualitative research approach, this study collected data
from in-depth interview, field notes, and participant observation. The data included
experiences of participation in sports clubs and expectations for career development.
After collecting the data, this study established research questions and derived the
following findings: (1) Most students participated in sports clubs out of “interest”. (2) In
addition to good memories, students gained opportunities to collaborate with others,
closer relationships with others, and ph

Background: Taiwan has a comprehensive health care services, but the difference in mortality between urban and rural areas still exist. Many factors that affect mortality ...including lifestyle, socioeconomic status and the health care service. Amenable mortality is a widely used indicator in the measurement of health outcome. When amenable mortality is higher in the area of medical resources inadequate or uneven distributed, that means the government should pay more attention to the health care investment. Objectives: First, to explore amenable mortality and its trend between aboriginal and non-aboriginal areas in Hualien during 1986 to 2010. Second, to compare the trends of amenable mortality before and after the implementation of National Health Insurance (NHI). Methods: We used direct standardized method to calculate amenable mortality rates and gender-specific, age-specific and cause-specific amenable mortality rates. Joinpoint regression was used to identify changes in mortality trend

In this thesis, I read the works of the Irish novelist Eimear McBride, A Girl is a Half-formed Thing (2013) and The Lesser Bohemians (2016), as failed stories of development ...and trauma narratives. Marked by truncated words and broken syntax, McBride''s elliptical style enacts the impacts of sexual abuse on language and human psyche, and penetrates to the core of bodily experience and trauma, breaking out of the radical interiority of pain. Read together, Girl and Bohemians are two sides of the same coin, as they explore alternative models of subject formation in a hostile environment that hinders maturation. In Girl, the nameless girl''s interior monologue shows that she is incapable of externalizing trauma, and her profound isolation culminates in her half-formed identity and life. By contrast, in Bohemians, the conversation between the two protagonists indicates that survival is possible through the witnessing of trauma based on the responsibility towards the other''s alterity. A relational model of subjectivity, then, is needed in the face of trauma. On the other hand, the silenced mothers in the two novels suggest that the breakdown of the balance between self-assertion and mutual recognition, which leads to the polarities of effacement or unconditional elevation of the other, is the potential origin of trauma.
