The history of the development of urinary diversion methods dates over than 170 years. During this time, many methods of urinary diversion have been invented. Some never made it out of the research ...centres, while others were widely accepted by urologists and still in use today. In modern bladder cancer, doctors are not only concerned about saving human life in the immediate period, but also about how the patient will live after the cystectomy, which is a crippling surgery that affects both the quality of life and the patients’ social adaptation. The article presents the historical stages of urinary diversion techniques from the first attempts at derivation into the undisturbed colon to the creation of a low-pressure high-capacity neobladders.
The nanostructuring of an AMg6 aluminum alloy is carried out by the method of severe plastic deformation via the hot extrusion of a billet made of pressed nanocomposite powder, which is obtained by ...the dispersion of a mixture of alloy chips and C60 fullerite powder in a planetary ball mill. The structural features of the resulting n-AMg6/C60 nanocomposite are investigated. Experimental studies of the mechanical characteristics of the n-AMg6/C60 nanocomposite are presented. The stress–strain curves σ = σ(ε) are measured for the nanostructured composite samples upon a cyclic variation in the stress applied to the samples. During the experiments, almost no residual deformations are detected in the samples of n-AMg6/C60 composite, and the stress–strain curves do not contain regions corresponding to plastic deformation. It is established that reversible mechanical loading–unloading of the samples of AMg6/C60 causes their hardening. These data are supplemented by measurements of the microhardness and changes in the velocity of longitudinal elastic waves upon a cyclic variation in the load on the sample.
Abstract
The data on the influence of innovative hydrological developments in the field of high energy physics on the biochemical parameters of blood serum of Clarius catfish grown in a closed water ...supply installation are presented. The essence of innovative developments in the field of high energy physics consists in the treatment of water in which fish and feed are grown with crystal structures created by a group of Russian scientists. The energy of these crystal structures has a beneficial effect on the biological activity of objects, improving their natural properties. During the experiment, the content of total bilirubin, enzymes aspartate aminotransferase (AsT) and alanine aminotransferase (AlT), total protein, creatinine, glucose, urea, alkaline phosphatase, macro elements (calcium and phosphorus) were determined. The biochemical blood parameters of the fish in the control and experimental groups had significant differences in some parameters, which may indicate a positive effect of feeds with a modified molecular structure and biologically active liquid (BAF) on the organism of Clarius catfish.
The paper presents experimental data for linear and nonlinear elastic waves in an acute-angled wedge made of D16 isotropic polycrystalline alloy with defects. The localization of waves at the edge of ...the wedge has been studied using laser vibrometry. The velocities of wedge waves have been measured by a pulse method in the frequency range 0.25–1.50 MHz. Measurements have not revealed any dispersion. The second harmonic of the wedge waves has been found. The dependences of the velocity and amplitude of the second harmonic on the amplitude of the first harmonic have been studied. It is noted that nonlinear effects observed in wedge waves may be explained in terms of the Murnaghan classical five-constant theory of elasticity. They are attributed to a defect-induced structural nonlinearity present in the wedge.

—Oxidative stress is among the main causes of developing severe complications in diabetes mellitus (DM). Existing pharmaceuticals, although efficient in reducing the blood glucose level, infrequently ...demonstrate antioxidant properties. On the other hand, there are many reliable reports about a broad range of biological activity exhibited by photobiomodulation therapy (PBMT). Its potential sugar-lowering and antioxidant action makes this type of therapy a promising option for the treatment of DM and its complications. The effect of PBMT on the state of the antioxidant defense system in blood leukocytes was investigated in rats with streprozocin-induced DM. This study has shown that the PBMT increased superoxide dismutase (SOD) activity in rats with DM and normalized the content of oxidative stress markers (thiobarbituric acid (TBA)-active products, oxidatively modified proteins, and protein glycation end products).

—The physicochemical characteristics of erythrocyte membranes from the peripheral whole blood of rats and the erythrocytes washed with physiological solution, using the method of acid hemolysis, ...under diabetes mellitus conditions and against the therapy based on low-intensity blue light emission in the visible light range have been studied. The use of low-intensity light therapy (LILT) led to a decrease in the resistance of erythrocyte membranes to the action of acid hemolytic in the control group animals. Under diabetes conditions, LILT prolonged total hemolysis and reduced the count of hemolysed erythrocytes relative to the indices in the group of animals with DM. No expressed hypoglycemic effect due to the LILT was observed in sick animals, and the content of glycolysed hemoglobin tended to decrease.

The subjects of this work are: identification of features of common and different for the flame propagation in volumes from 3 l to 30 m3; comparison of the flame propagation modes upon ignition with ...energies from 1 mJ to 5 J; explanation of differences in results when using different shells that limit the volume of the combustible mixture. A series of experiments on spherical propagation of flame front in various shells is conducted. The position and morphology of the flame front was recorded with ir camera Infratec ImageIR 8320 with spectral range 2-5.7 µm and schlieren device IAB-451 equipped with high-speed camera VideoSprint G2. Dependences of the flame front position versus time are obtained.
