In this paper the simulation results of the spectral sensitivity characteristics of silicon p-i-n-photodiodes are presented. The analysis of the characteristics of the semiconductor material (the ...doping level, lifetime, surface recombination velocity), the construction and operation modes on the characteristics of photosensitive structures in order to optimize them was carried out.
Detonation amorphous-crystalline coatings Zr–Si–B that additionally contain solid lubricant additive as an anti-friction component in the form of the dispersed molybdenum disulfide have been ...developed. The high wear resistance of coatings that contain molybdenum disulfide has been noted. In a study of the surface layer, photomicrographs of friction surfaces on which activation processes take place have been used in electron diffraction analysis. The wear resistance of the coatings has been established, which enabled the creation of separating juvenile thin film surface of an object that represented the product of oxygen-free structures based on chemical elements of intermetallic phases included in the coating composition.

In the paper a simulation program for photovoltaic parameters of semiconductor devices and results of their investigation are presented. The results of the program usage based on an example of ...calculating the influence of the high-resistance "well" thickness in the silicon p-i-n-diode spectral response are discussed. For the accuracy of the program estimation it was compared the theoretical spectral characteristics of a silicon PIN-diode 5 kOhm substrate with the experimental data.

The OBJECTIVE of this work was to study the possibility of preoperative color 3D-modeling and intraoperative navigation through the use of the system «Avtoplan» in the surgical treatment of patients ...with pathology of the liver.
MATERIAL AND METHODS. System «Avtoplan» was used in 32 patients with different surgical diseases of the liver: hemangioma, hydatid cyst, alveococcosis and metastatic colorectal cancer to assess the feasibility of the operation – resection of the liver of a particular volume.
RESULTS. The performed 3D-modeling of the liver in the preoperative stage were used in 3 cases (10.3%) of 32 to abandon the planned surgical treatment in favor of conservative therapy due to local spread of the pathological process (in 2 cases – metastatic bilobate and in 1 case – alveococcosis organ damage). Of the 29 operated patients, in 6 (20.7%) at the stage of preoperative modeling, the planned volume of liver resection was changed: in 4 patients, in the direction of its increase in connection with the identified topographic and anatomic location of tumors, and in 2 patients, in the direction of its reduction due to the peculiarities of the blood supply to the zone of surgical interest.
CONCLUSION. Preoperative 3D-modeling allowed the surgeon to better prepare for surgical intervention according to individual anatomical characteristics of the patient and to choose the optimal extent of surgery. Knowledge of 3D topography of liver lesions allowed reducing intraoperative blood loss and the likelihood of damage to intrahepatic structures (vessels, bile ducts). Postoperative 3D modeling allowed to assess the adequacy of the volume of surgery performed and could serve as an objective criterion in assessing the quality of medical care.

This work deals with the development of design criteria for deep-hole drills with non-traditional ejectors of circular and plain type. An analytical method for design on non-traditional ejectors with ...circular jet was developed. The experimental investigation of the developed method was found suitable for the design of single lip non-traditional ejector gundrills of bigger diameter. For smaller diameter drills the results were not satisfactory. For smaller diameter size gundrills the equations analytically developed were modified to suit the experimental results. Further investigation of these modified equations found them to be appropriate. In the case of plain type ejectors, the design methods were developed based on experimental results since this type of ejector does not lend itself easily to theoretical analysis.
