Aim. To study dynamics of stiffness parameters in various type arteries, renal function and renal circulation in arterial hypertension (AH) and ischemic heart disease (CHD ) with decompensated 2 type ...diabetes mellitus (DM2) on the sitagliptin therapy during 24 weeks.Material and methods. Totally 30 patients included, with decompensated DM2 (HbA1c >7%) and AH, most having also CHD. The dynamics of carbohydrate and lipid metabolisms were assessed, arterial wall stiffness in various structural and functional types, renal function and renal circulation at the background of sitagliptine therapy during 24 weeks.Results. There was no dynamics by the parameters of arterial wall stiffness in various types of arteries, as in renal function and renal circulation among the patients in sitagliptin (n=15) and comparison (n=15) groups. However in those achieved compensation of DM2 on sitagliptin (n=8) we found a decrease of stiffnes index β of brachial artery (muscular type) by 37% from baseline (p<0,01). There was no dynamics of stiffness in muscle-elastic or muscular types of arteries.Conclusion. In patients with hipertension disease and ischemic heart disease with DM2 on glucoselowering therapy there was no dynamics by the parameters of aortic, common caritid artery stiffness and renal circulation during 6 months followup. However on the therapy by dipeptidilpeptidase-4 inhibitor (sitagliptin) during 6 months and compensation of DM2 (HbA1c <7%) there was a decrease of brachial artery stiffness (muscular type).
Explosive launching devices are used to test objects of rocket and space technology for resistance to the impact of meteoroids and fragments of space debris. These include shaped charges with a ...combined hemisphere-cylinder liner. In these charges, the formation of a high-velocity compact element occurs as a result of “cutting-off” by the collapsing liner cylindrical part of the head section of the jet flow formed from the liner hemispherical part compressed by the explosion products. Currently used shaped charges with a hemisphere-cylinder liner make it possible to obtain compact steel elements with velocities of 6 km/s. It was considered the possibility of obtaining aluminum particles with velocities up to 16 km/s using shaped charges with a combined shaped-charge liner on the basis of numerical modeling within the framework of a two-dimensional axisymmetric problem of continuum mechanics. The modeling was carried out for a shaped charge with a diameter of 100 mm using the ANSYS/AUTODYN and ERUDIT computer codes. To achieve this goal, a degressive (decreasing from apex to base) thickness was given to the jet-forming part of the liner, and the surfaces bounding it had the form of surfaces of a semi-ellipsoid or semi-superellipsoid of revolution. The geometric parameters of the combined liner were selected based on the results of the calculations, which made it possible to form an aluminum particle with a considered level of velocity with its mass in tenths of a gram.
•Shaped charges with combined liner can be used to produce high-velocity particles.•Combined shaped-charge liner includes jet-forming and cutting-off parts.•Combined liners can produce aluminum particles with a velocity of 16 km/s.•Jet-forming part of combined shaped-charge liner has a degressive thickness.•Liner jet-forming part has semi-ellipsoidal or semi-superellipsoidal surfaces.

Fine details of crystal structure of archetypal CeB6 hexaboride with heavy fermions are studied at temperatures 85 and 500 K by precise X-ray diffraction technique. Small static Jahn-Teller ...distortions of a simple cubic lattice are observed at these temperatures, leading to emergence of (i) dynamic charge stripes along selected directions , , and in the crystals in combination with (ii) vibrationally coupled pairs of Ce ions. Instead of a Currie-Weiss type behavior, the temperature dependence of magnetization M∼(T − TCrand)−0.8 with TCrand∼TQ∼3.3 K was deduced in a wide temperature range 5–800 K for various directions of external magnetic field, which indicates the Griffiths phase formation with nanosized clusters of magnetic ions in CeB6. Moreover, in contrast to the scenario of a single-ion Kondo lattice, when revealing the power-law behavior of the magnetic contribution ρm(T)∼T−0.4 to the resistivity in the range of 8–90 K, we conclude in favor of the regime of weak localization of charge carriers in CeB6. Fourier maps of electron density confirm the conclusion about the nanosized magnetic clusters of Ce ions in this archetypal strongly correlated electron system with unusual magnetic ground state.

Explosive propelling devices are used to test objects of rocket and space technology for resistance to the effects of meteoroids and fragments of space debris. Based on numerical simulation carried ...out with the use of computational complexes ANSYS/AUTODYN and ERUDIT, the possibilities of obtaining aluminum particles with velocities of up to 16 km/s with the aid of shaped charges with a combined cumulative coating are considered. For achieving this goal, the thickness of the jet-forming part of the coating was built up degressively, with the surfaces limiting it having the shape of the surfaces of a semiellipsoid or a semisuperellipsoid of revolution.

The article shows the experience of eribulin application in actual clinical practice in Oncology institutions of the Russian Federation concerning metastatic breast cancer. We have analyzed the ...efficacy of the drug in case of different subtypes of the tumor and have chosen patients, depending on the location of metastases and with proven maximum efficacy of eribulin. We have shown the side reactions and the possibility of application of eribulin in combination with other antineoplastic agents.
Fine details of crystal structure of ZrB12 two-gap superconductor are studied at low temperatures by precise x-ray diffraction technique. Small static Jahn-Teller distortions of a face centered cubic ...lattice are observed in the range 30–70 K, leading to emergence of two types singularities of electron density (ED). These are: (i) dynamic charge stripes along selected directions and in the crystal and (ii) triangular lattice of the ED antinodes located in the interstices of the boron lattice in the {111} planes. The second anomaly was detected for the first time, and it is very pronounced for ZrB12, being intensified at low temperatures. The anisotropy of the two-gap superconductivity in ZrB12 is confirmed by measurements of the low temperature heat capacity in a magnetic field directed along three principal axes in the crystal, H || 100, H || 110 and H || 111. We conclude in favor of the magnetic field-induced anisotropy arising from the interaction of vortex lattice in this superconductor with fluctuating ED (charge stripes) of a two-type filamentary structure.

Aim. To investigate the relationship between changes in indicators of arterial stiffness of various types of vessels, hemodynamic pulsatility, renal function and renal blood flow in patients with ...coronary artery disease (CAD) and arterial hypertension in the presence or absence of type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM). Materials and Methods. The study included 96 patients with CAD and arterial hypertension; among them, 54 subjects had T2DM and 42 did not. Сarbohydrate and lipid metabolism, renal function, stiffness of various types of arteries, parameters of hemodynamic pulsatility and renal blood flow were investigated. Results. Arterial stiffness of various types of vessels was increased in the T2DM group: carotid?femoral pulse wave velocity as a marker of aortic stiffness (a vessel of the elastic type) was increased by 16% (p

and the subsequent refinement and analysis of ...their compositions showed that an increased number of vacancies at the tungsten sites contributes to the cracking of crystals. It was also found that an associate—a color center (a vacancy at the molybdenum site and an electron localized near the vacancy)—gives the crystals a yellow color. The formation of regularly oriented isostructural domains with coherent boundaries as a bulk defect was observed for the first time for crystals of the scheelite family.
