Using methods of formal geometry, the Poisson sigma model on a closed surface is studied in perturbation theory. The effective action, as a function on vacua, is shown to have no quantum ...corrections if the surface is a torus or if the Poisson structure is regular and unimodular (e.g., symplectic). In the case of a Kähler structure or of a trivial Poisson structure, the partition function on the torus is shown to be the Euler characteristic of the target; some evidence is given for this to happen more generally. The methods of formal geometry introduced in this paper might be applicable to other sigma models, at least of the AKSZ type.

We discuss a general procedure to encode the reduction of the target space geometry into AKSZ sigma models. This is done by considering the AKSZ construction with target the BFV model for ...constrained graded symplectic manifolds. We investigate the relation between this sigma model and the one with the reduced structure. We also discuss several examples in dimension two and three when the symmetries come from Lie group actions and systematically recover models already proposed in the literature.

Abstract Background Randomized clinical trials on bioresorbable scaffolds (BRS) enrolled patients with simple coronary lesions. The present study was sought to give preliminary findings about safety ...of BRS implantation in overlap in long coronary lesions. Methods From June 2012 to January 2015, we prospectively collected data from 162 consecutive patients receiving overlapping BRS implantation in the 16 participating institutions. We applied a propensity-score to match BRS-treated patients with 162 patients receiving second generation drug eluting stents (DES) in overlap. The primary endpoint was a device-oriented endpoint (DOCE), including cardiac death, target vessel myocardial infarction, and target lesion revascularization. Results DOCE rate did not significantly differ between the two groups (5.6% in BRS group vs. 7.4% in DES group, HR 0.79, 95%CI 0.37–3.55, p = 0.6). Also stent/scaffold thrombosis did not differ between groups (1.2% in BRS group vs. 1.9% in DES group, p = 0.6). Occurrence of procedural-related myocardial injury was significantly higher in the BRS group (25% vs. 12%, p = 0.001), although it was not related to DOCE (HR 1.1, 95%CI 0.97–1.2, p = 0.2). Imaging techniques and enhanced stent visualization systems were significantly more employed in the BRS group (p = 0.0001 for both). Procedure length, fluoroscopy time and contrast dye amount were significantly higher in the BRS group (p = 0.001, p = 0.001 and p = 0.01, respectively). Conclusions Overlapping BRS utilization in long coronary lesions showed a comparable DOCE rate at 1 year if compared to second generation DES. Further and larger studies are on demand to confirm our findings.

Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to investigate $(+1)$-shifted Poisson structures in the context of differential geometry. The relevant notion is that of $(+1)$-shifted Poisson structures on ...differentiable stacks. More precisely, we develop the notion of the Morita equivalence of quasi-Poisson groupoids. Thus, isomorphism classes of $(+1)$-shifted Poisson stacks correspond to Morita equivalence classes of quasi-Poisson groupoids. In the process, we carry out the following program, which is of independent interest: (1) We introduce a ${\mathbb{Z}}$-graded Lie 2-algebra of polyvector fields on a given Lie groupoid and prove that its homotopy equivalence class is invariant under the Morita equivalence of Lie groupoids, and thus they can be considered to be polyvector fields on the corresponding differentiable stack ${\mathfrak{X}}$. It turns out that $(+1)$-shifted Poisson structures on ${\mathfrak{X}}$ correspond exactly to elements of the Maurer–Cartan moduli set of the corresponding dgla. (2) We introduce the notion of the tangent complex $T_{\mathfrak{X}}$ and the cotangent complex $L_{\mathfrak{X}}$ of a differentiable stack ${\mathfrak{X}}$ in terms of any Lie groupoid $\Gamma{\rightrightarrows } M$ representing ${\mathfrak{X}}$. They correspond to a homotopy class of 2-term homotopy $\Gamma$-modules $A1\rightarrow TM$ and $T^{\vee } M\rightarrow A^{\vee }-1$, respectively. Relying on the tools of theory of VB-groupoids including homotopy and Morita equivalence of VB-groupoids, we prove that a $(+1)$-shifted Poisson structure on a differentiable stack ${\mathfrak{X}}$ defines a morphism ${L_{\mathfrak{X}}}1\to{T_{\mathfrak{X}}}$.

Oxaliplatin is a new drug active in the treatment of advanced colorectal cancer. Hepatic arterial infusion chemotherapy is
under evaluation because of the high target dose and low general toxicity. ...Twelve patients with liver metastases from colorectal
cancer were enrolled, all pretreated with evidence of progressive disease: three after a partial remission induced by oxaliplatin,
folinic acid and 5-FU, three patients after a partial remission induced by irinotecan, folinic acid and 5-FU and six patients
after failing a 5-FU and folinic acid regimen. They received hepatic arterial infusion chemotherapy with oxaliplatin as 30-min
infusion on an out-patient basis every 3 weeks. Dose-limiting toxicity was observed at 175 mg/m 2 /cycle and consisted of obliteration of the hepatic artery in one patient, abdominal pain requiring morphine in one patient
and severe hypotension requiring plasma expander in a third. Following phase I, all patients received 150 mg/m 2 for six cycles. We reported four cases of partial remission (33%) lasting 24, 15, 12 and 10+ weeks, respectively, 2 stabilisation
of disease (17%) lasting more than 12 weeks and six progressions (50%). Six patients (50%) presented CEA reduction of >30%
and five patients (41%) showed an increase of > 8% of body weight. The median survival was 13 months (range 6-19). Oxaliplatin
did not present significant toxicity for liver parenchyma and biliary tree. We advise that further studies be undertaken with
oxaliplatin 150 mg/m 2 .

We evaluate the path integral of the Poisson sigma model on the sphere and study the correlators of quantum observables. We argue that for the path integral to be well-defined the corresponding ...Poisson structure should be unimodular. The construction of the finite dimensional BV theory is presented and we argue that it is responsible for the leading semiclassical contribution. For a (twisted) generalized Kähler manifold we discuss the gauge fixed action for the Poisson sigma model. Using the localization we prove that for the holomorphic Poisson structure the semiclassical result for the correlators is indeed the full quantum result.
