The International Physical Activity Questionnaire (IPAQ) was created to assess physical activity in the community. This study aims to explore the use of IPAQ in Indonesia with a psychometric approach ...and cross-cultural adaptation of Indonesia. Stages of Psychological Evaluation The IPAQ questionnaire began with translating the questionnaire from English to Indonesian, construct assessment by expert judgment, and statistical measurements were carried out to determine the validity and reliability tests. The questionnaire was tested on 25 respondents. The Indonesian version of the IPAQ has a satisfactory criterion validity. A total of 7 question items in the IPAQ were valid. The Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin value was 0.910, and Bartlett's test of sphericity was X2 = 573,434 (df=28, p0.000). The Indonesian version of IPAQ is valid and reliable as a measuring tool for physical activity in Indonesian people.
Basic movement skill (FMS) is an important factor that can influence physical activities. Playing outside can support a child overall health, learning process, and basic motor skill development. The ...purpose of this study was to determine early childhood motor development through outdoor play based on gender differences. This study used an experimental method with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The study population consisted of preschool children aged 5–6 years. The sample included 30 preschool children selected using purposive sampling, consisting of 12 boys and 18 girls. TGMD-2 test instrument was used to measure FMS. The results showed that there was no difference of the effect of the outdoor play program on the basic motor skills (FMS) of boys and girls. Locomotor skills and control objects indicates that there was a significant effect of the program intervention. It concludes that early motor skills of boys and girls were improved after participating in an outdoor play program. According to the result of this study, it is necessary to conduct a more detailed approach on gender differences, especially on their basic motor needs and participations in programmed outdoor activities to encourage the development of basic motor skills (FMS).
Life skills as skills needed to overcome the demands and demands of everyday life to see an increase in life skills in research students used two learning models, namely the Teaching Personal and ...Social Responsibility (TPSR) model and the cooperative model. The purpose of this study was to find out how much influence the Teaching Personal and Social Responsibility (TPSR) model and cooperative model had on life skills in physical education, sports and health. The research method in this study is to use a comparative experimental method, comparative research to find out whether two variables or more than two groups have differences in the aspects or variables studied. The experimental research design used in this study was the Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The samples used in this study were 15 students in the TPSR group and 15 students in the cooperative group. With the application of the TPSR learning model which aims to improve aspects of students' life skills, the average pretest score = 150.13 and the posttest average score = 166.40 with a difference in score of 16.27. As for the cooperative learning model which aims to improve aspects of students' life skills, the average pretest score = 112.27 and the posttest average score = 158.33 with a difference in score of 46.07. Thus, the difference in the average value of the TPSR learning model is smaller than the difference in the average value of the cooperative learning model, so that it can be concluded that the cooperative learning model has more influence on students' life skills.
The low level of self-directed learning among students is a problem in this study and the limited research on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics-based Self-Regulated Learning in ...physical education is a gap in this research. Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) based on Self-Regulated Learning (SRL) is an alternative learning model in Physical Education. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of application Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics based Self-Regulated Learning to develop self-directed learning. This study used quasi-experimental method with a nonequivalent control group design and sampling used purposive sampling technique. The participants in this study were students VIII grade. Research was conducted in SMP Laboratorium School UPI with online learning and Limited Face-to-Face Meeting. The instruments of this study used the Self-Rating Scale of Self Directed Learning (SRSSDL). After the sample had completed the treatment, the results of data analysis showed that directed learning aspect was 0.027 with the criterion value (Sig.) = 0.05. Regardless of the results, this is supported by empirical evidence from student behavior, learning, and task making. They showed the development of students' abilities in the learning process did not depend on teachers, friends, class conditions and others. It can be concluded that implementation of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) based on Self-Regulated Learning (SRL) has an effect on develop self-directed learning. This research contributes to learning innovation in physical education, so that teachers can apply this model on an ongoing basis to develop self-directed students. Future research needs to be done, for example trying to apply this model to develop other potentials in students such as motivation, cooperation, or responsibility.

The purpose of this study was to determine and examine the effect of the Team Games Tournament (TGT) learning model on increasing creativity, cooperation, soccer skills in deaf students. The method ...used was an experimental method with a research design was a pretest and posttest design. The population in this study were students of SLB Negeri Cicendo and the sample was 20 grade students. The sampling technique is total sampling. The research instrument is creativity developed from Juliantine's research (2010) and the instrument for playing football skills using GPAI (Game Performance Assessment Instrument Components). The results showed that: (1) there was an effect of the Team Games Tournament (TGT) type of cooperative learning model on creativity in deaf students, (2) there was an influence of the Team Games Tournament (TGT) type of cooperative learning model on cooperation among deaf students, (3) There is the influence of the Team Games Tournament (TGT) type of cooperative learning model on the skills of playing football in deaf students, (4) there are differences in the Team Games Tournament (TGT) type of cooperative learning model and the conventional learning model on creativity, cooperation, and football playing skills of deaf students . Referring to the results of the analysis and research conclusions, the authors provide several recommendations for other researchers who are interested in answering new findings, namely regarding the absence of influence on the variables of creativity, cooperation, football skills through the Team Games Tournament learning model. This may be a weakness in the researcher regarding the research method, data collection techniques, and the sample involved.
Physical activity is one of the vital components of students with disabilities during the COVID-19 pandemic, which is endemic in various countries, including Indonesia. The purpose of the study was ...to determine the level of physical activity of students with disabilities during the COVID-19 pandemic. Participants of this study were 17 students with disabilities (intellectual disability, hearing impairment, speech impairment) aged 8-14 years. This research used a quantitative descriptive research method. The tool used was the Children's Physical Activity Questionnaire (PAQ-C) distributed through Google Forms. Data analysis included quantitative descriptive statistics analysis and the analytical need testing using IBM SPSS 24 applications. The results showed that the physical activity of students with disabilities during the COVID-19 pandemic was mostly distributed in the low category, nine students (50%). This study implied that students should maintain and increase physical activity by doing light physical activity at least 30 minutes a day and maintaining immunity by eating nutritious foods such as vitamins, fruits, vegetables, and healthy foods to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus. It will be interesting to study adaptive learning more deeply during pandemics in a broad scope in Indonesia for further research.
The purpose of this study was to find out the motivation of learning physical education based on gender. This study used a descriptive comparative method. The subjects in this study were 50 students ...in VII grade consisting of 30 male students and 22 female students. The instrument used by researchers was a physical education learning motivation questionnaire for junior high school students developed by Nur, Suherman, and Subarjah that contains 29 approved items with a validity value 0.518 and reliability value 0.906. The data analysis used an independent sample t test to analyze the motivation differences between male students and female students. The results of the study showed that the male students' physical education learning motivation was higher than female students in junior high school level. This finding is expected to be an assessment of the relevant parties in order to foster motivation to improve student learning outcomes.
