Inorganic planar ring‐shape molecules with 4n + 2 π electrons are always the focus of experimental synthesis and theoretical research due to their potential aromaticity and stability. In this work, ...the whole series of five‐membered heterocycle monoanions X
nY5‐n− (X, Y = group 15 elements; n = 1‐4) were thoroughly investigated by means of density functional theory calculations. They all have large formation energies and HOMO‐LUMO gap energies, suggesting the potential thermodynamic and kinetic stability. Their aromaticities are comparable to that of typical aromatic hydrocarbons. Their thermal stabilities were firmly established by the ab initio molecular dynamics simulations. As most of them are predicted for the first time, their various spectra were simulated for experimental characterization. Furthermore, we demonstrate that these five‐membered cyclic anions can be employed as η5‐ligand to construct novel all‐inorganic metallocenes, which may serve as the building blocks of low‐dimensional nanomaterials.
Density functional theory calculations predicted the planar structures and good stabilities of all the heterocycle monoanions X
nY5‐n− (X, Y = group 15 elements; n = 1‐4) for the first time. With 6π electrons, they exhibit excellent aromaticity comparable with that of the typical aromatic hydrocarbons. They could serve as new ligands to construct novel all‐inorganic sandwich complexes.

The emergence of high antimicrobial-resistant and hypervirulent Klebsiella pneumoniae (hvKp) clones in clinics has become a cause of concern in recent years. Despite the global spread of the clonal ...complex (CC) 258, hvKp of other non-CC258 subgroups also emerged. Here, by performing a retrospective study from July 2019 to August 2020 in a Chinese hospital, we obtained 25 K. pneumoniae isolates belonging to CC15. By antimicrobial susceptibility testing and whole genome sequencing and analysis, we obtained the resistant phenotypes and genotypes of these isolates. Twenty-one isolates (84%) were carbapenem-resistant, and eighteen were blasub.KPC-2 positive. In addition, ten isolates were identified as putative hvKp and seven were carbapenem-resistant hvKp. Nine isolates carried the pLVPK-like virulence plasmid, which contains the fragment including rmpA2, peg-589, iutA, and iucABCD. Another isolate carried iucA. Phylogenetic analysis revealed that the isolates belonged to four lineages, and the putative hvKp isolates were identified in three of these. Two independent sublineages of putative hvKp were caused by the acquisition of pLVPK-like virulence plasmid. Based on comparative genomic analysis, the number of pairwise single nucleotide polymorphisms amongst the four sublineages, Lineage 1a, 1b, 2a, and 2b, were 1–43, 2–13, 129–279, and 3–4, respectively, indicating clonal transmission of Lineage 1a, 1b, and 2b. These results indicate that multiple lineages of CC15 carbapenem-resistant hvKp have emerged in the hospital and caused nosocomial transmission, and that the spreading of virulence plasmids among classic K. pneumoniae subtypes might become more common and happen more easily. These findings highlight the importance of surveillance of local epidemics of non-CC258 subgroups in hospitals.

The purpose of this research was to examine how the relation between an individual’s calling and his or her job satisfaction, turnover intentions, and career success is affected by two dimensions of ...organizational context, procedural justice and psychological safety. Data were obtained from 526 employees of a law enforcement agency in the Midwest United States. Our results indicate that calling is important to both employees and employers since individuals with higher sense of calling are more satisfied with their jobs, less likely to turn over, and are more content with their careers. Moreover, this study provides evidence that under poor contextual conditions, the relation between calling and job satisfaction is stronger than in good contextual conditions (i.e., procedurally just or psychologically safe contexts). Our findings also suggest that a psychologically safe organizational environment is of some importance to experiencing a feeling of career success for those with a higher sense of calling.

A fault detection method of local outlier factor for high-speed train of running gear based on inter-variable variance is proposed which aims at solving the problems of multiple data sources, high ...dimension and complex actual working conditions in the process of high-speed train of fault detection in this paper. Firstly, considering the high complexity of space-time computation in big data, IVV(Inter-Variable Variance) algorithm is used to fuse data tracks with similar running states to reduce the computational complexity. Secondly, taking into the fact that the data are more affected by external factors, the linear threshold is replaced by the non-linear threshold as the standard for fault detection by horizontally comparing the other non-fault components of the same high-speed train. Lastly, in the case of determining the position of the fault components of the train initially, the LOF(Local Outlier Factor) algorithm is used to calculate the number of outliers of a single measure point, so as to determine the exact position of the fault and improve the accuracy of the algorithm. The simulation experiment is carried out in combination with the actual running data of high-speed trains, which verify the validity of the algorithm in the fault detection of high-speed train of running gear.
Experts suggest health care institutions switch focus from measuring burnout to measuring positive organizational psychology. Concerns include burnout being a late sign of organizational decline. The ...Baldrige survey is promoted by the U.S. Department of Commerce to measure positive worksite conditions (e.g., workforce wellbeing of industries, including health care and education). For years, the survey has been completed by managers within organizations, but now the same survey is promoted for completion by an organization's workforce. We tested the structure of the Baldrige survey when completed by an academic health care workforce. In addition, we tested whether the results in an academic worksite correlate with an example metric of an organizational mission.
In 2015, our academic health center surveyed faculty and staff with the Baldrige survey. The validity of the Baldrige was tested with confirmatory factor analyses. Within the School of Medicine, responses for the Baldrige's concepts were correlated against a measure of organizational outcome: graduates' assessments of Departmental educational quality.
The structure of the Baldrige survey did not validate when assessed by a workforce (RMSEA = 0.086; CFI = 0.829; TLI = 0.815). None of its concepts correlated with learner reported educational quality.
The Baldrige survey, when administered to a workforce rather than managers, did not appear to measure workforce well-being within an academic health care center. We discourage use of the current survey for this purpose.
A career calling, defined as a meaningful beckoning toward work activities that are morally, socially, and personally significant, has been studied extensively by management and vocational psychology ...researchers in the past twenty years. Much is known about the work-related benefits of employees’ strong senses of calling, yet little is known about the type of work climate that affects their senses of calling. To explore this understudied research area, I introduce the concept referred to as a “career calling climate” (CCC), a new construct that describes the shared perceptions regarding the level of support that a work unit provides for employees’ career calling and develop the measurement scale for it. I establish the scale’s validity and reliability and its two-factor structure using survey responses from 359 participants of various occupations and age. To demonstrate career calling climate’s predictive validity, I examine its relations with leadership, career calling, subjective well-being, work engagement, job burnout, and turnover intentions using another sample of 186 healthcare employees nested in 33 work units. CCC was positively associated with individual career callings, subjective well-being, and work engagement and was negatively associated with job burnout. I discuss implications of this new construct and the findings for management scholars and practitioners.
This research signifies a considerable breakthrough in leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs) for multi-intent spoken language understanding (SLU). Our approach re-imagines the use of entity slots ...in multi-intent SLU applications, making the most of the generative potential of LLMs within the SLU landscape, leading to the development of the EN-LLM series. Furthermore, we introduce the concept of Sub-Intent Instruction (SII) to amplify the analysis and interpretation of complex, multi-intent communications, which further supports the creation of the ENSI-LLM models series. Our novel datasets, identified as LM-MixATIS and LM-MixSNIPS, are synthesized from existing benchmarks. The study evidences that LLMs may match or even surpass the performance of the current best multi-intent SLU models. We also scrutinize the performance of LLMs across a spectrum of intent configurations and dataset distributions. On top of this, we present two revolutionary metrics - Entity Slot Accuracy (ESA) and Combined Semantic Accuracy (CSA) - to facilitate a detailed assessment of LLM competence in this multifaceted field." Our code and datasets are available at \url{https://github.com/SJY8460/SLM}.

The Oxford Handbook of Meaningful Work,
01/2019
Book Chapter
This chapter introduces a positive ethical framework for supporting the experience of meaningfulness at work. Three specific virtues are conceptually linked to meaningfulness (humanity, courage, and ...transcendence) and a number of character strengths that these encompass (such as morality, gratitude, and spirituality). It is argued that experiencing meaningfulness is more likely to result in the experience of positive emotions, contributing to a positive ethical culture at work and producing a “virtuous upwards spiral” of positive agency. Positive emotions attract more support and facilitate positive social relations inside and outside the workplace. Evidence about the links between meaningfulness and volunteering are explored in turn to consider what organizations might do to foster positive work culture. The chapter recognizes the potential for conflict and paradox between virtues and character strengths. However, even paradoxes and conflicts of this kind can generate positive experiences.
This paper studies the design of host computer software for cloud particle measurement system. It includes data communication, data storage, RLE (Run Length Encoding) decompression, system ...environment variables and image display of particle data. The difficulties are the software architecture design and tri-channel data communication realization. The software has been implemented with the state machine and the queuing mechanism of LabVIEW. The tri-channel data communication uses three RS-422 ports. The high speed channel of tri-channel data communication, i.e. two-dimension particle data, uses synchronous format of HDLC (High-level Data Link Control). The test results show that the software meets the system requirements completely. This software has been registered software copyright, registered number is 2011SR058815.
