Objective: The objective of this research was to evaluate plant growth, soybean grain yield and production cost depending on the use of different populations. Theoretical reference: Among ...management practices, plant population is an extremely important stage for the establishment of soybean crops. In many cases, just changing the plant population is enough to result in high gains in crop grain productivity. Methodology: A randomized block design was used, with four treatments and four replications. The treatments consisted of densities of 200, 250, 300 and 350 thousand seeds ha-1. Plant height, insertion height of the first pod, number of pods per plant, number of grains per pod, mass of one thousand grains and grain productivity were evaluated. Results and conclusion: Populations influenced grain productivity, with the highest productivity being achieved in the population of 250 thousand, 5905 kg ha-1. It was concluded that sowing density affects the number of pods per plant and soybean grain productivity. The density of 250 thousand seeds ha-1 was the one that provided the highest productivity of soybeans and the lowest sowing cost. Research implications: Determining the best population of soybean plants in different locations is essential to reduce producer costs. Originality/value: Most research works focus on the use of inputs, disregarding that the plant population can affect crop performance and production costs.

ABSTRACT
In the present study, we show that SARS-CoV-2 can infect palatine tonsils, adenoids, and secretions in children without symptoms of COVID-19, with no history of recent upper airway ...infection. We studied 48 children undergoing tonsillectomy due to snoring/OSA or recurrent tonsillitis between October 2020 and September 2021. Nasal cytobrushes, nasal washes, and tonsillar tissue fragments obtained at surgery were tested by RT-qPCR, immunohistochemistry (IHC), flow cytometry, and neutralization assay. We detected the presence of SARS-CoV-2 in at least one specimen tested in 27% of patients. IHC revealed the presence of the viral nucleoprotein in epithelial surface and in lymphoid cells in both extrafollicular and follicular regions, in adenoids and palatine tonsils. Also, IHC for the SARS-CoV-2 non-structural protein NSP-16 indicated the presence of viral replication in 53.8% of the SARS-CoV-2-infected tissues. Flow cytometry showed that CD20

B lymphocytes were the most infected phenotypes, followed by CD4+ lymphocytes and CD123 dendritic cells, CD8+ T lymphocytes, and CD14+ macrophages. Additionally, IF indicated that infected tonsillar tissues had increased expression of ACE2 and TMPRSS2. NGS sequencing demonstrated the presence of different SARS-CoV-2 variants in tonsils from different tissues. SARS-CoV-2 antigen detection was not restricted to tonsils but was also detected in nasal cells from the olfactory region. Palatine tonsils and adenoids are sites of prolonged RNA presence by SARS-CoV-2 in children, even without COVID-19 symptoms.
IMPORTANCE
This study shows that SRS-CoV-2 of different lineages can infect tonsils and adenoids in one quarter of children undergoing tonsillectomy. These findings bring advancement to the area of SARS-CoV-2 pathogenesis, by showing that tonsils may be sites of prolonged infection, even without evidence of recent COVID-19 symptoms. SARS-CoV-2 infection of B and T lymphocytes, macrophages, and dendritic cells may interfere with the mounting of immune responses in these secondary lymphoid organs. Moreover, the shedding of SARS-CoV-2 RNA in respiratory secretions from silently infected children raises concern about possible diagnostic confusion in the presence of symptoms of acute respiratory infections caused by other etiologies.

The use of health technologies provides better health management, anchored in equity, communication and governance in health. Technologies are conceptualized as a tool, which helps from planning to ...the execution of activities, and can be applied in health or in another area of knowledge. The objective is: to analyze scientific productions related to health technologies in a collective perspective. This study takes the form of an integrative literature review, built through the following steps: definition of the research question, selection of descriptors, choice of database, search and organization of articles and presentation of results. The chosen databases were: Latin American and Caribbean Literature in Health Sciences - LILACS, Medical Literature Analysis and Retrievel System Online - MEDLINE, Google Scholar and Scientific Electronic Library Online - SciELO, from July to August, year of 2022. Eight studies on the topic were gathered and organized in a table. The results obtained from the research carried out through scientific articles related to health technology and the collective impacts, several concepts were analyzed about the word technology, the main ones being: “light technology”, “light-hard technology” and “hard technology” . It was observed that there is a generalization of these mentioned terms, which are related to the reception along with the dialogue, the information and the production of procedures, respectively.
To estimate the seroprevalence of SARS-CoV-2 in the state of Maranhão, Brazil.
A population-based household survey was performed, from July 27, 2020 to August 8, 2020. The estimates considered ...clustering, stratification and non-response. Qualitative detection of IgM and IgG antibodies was performed in a fully-automated Elecsys® Anti-SARS-CoV-2 electrochemiluminescence immunoassay on the Cobas® e601 analyzer (Roche Diagnostics).
In total, 3,156 individuals were interviewed. Seroprevalence of total antibodies against SARS-CoV-2 was 40.4% (95%CI 35.6-45.3). Population adherence to non-pharmaceutical interventions was higher at the beginning of the pandemic than in the last month. SARS-CoV-2 infection rates were significantly lower among mask wearers and among those who maintained social and physical distancing in the last month compared to their counterparts. Among the infected, 26.0% were asymptomatic. The infection fatality rate (IFR) was 0.14%, higher for men and older adults. The IFR based on excess deaths was 0.28%. The ratio of estimated infections to reported cases was 22.2.
To the best of our knowledge, the seroprevalence of SARS-CoV-2 estimated in this population-based survey is one of the highest reported. The local herd immunity threshold may have been reached or might be reached soon.
