The accuracy of wind speed scenario generation is critical to the energy dispatching and planning of the wind-integrated power system. The accuracy of the modeling of wind speed can be improved with ...a comprehensive consideration of the dependency structure between wind speeds, and then the accuracy of wind speed scenario generation can be improved. Therefore, spatial and temporal dependence have been widely studied. However, linear correlation does not fully reflect the nonlinear nature of wind speed. Tail dependence, as a kind of non-linear dependency structure of wind speed in space and time, is studied in this paper. This paper proposes a wind speed scenario generation method based on the C-vine copula that considers spatiotemporal tail dependency structure. With the consideration of spatiotemporal dependency structure, the number of modeled random variables increase significantly. Therefore, a two-step wind speed scenario generation method is proposed to avoid the dimensional disaster. The wind speed data of two wind farms provided by the National Renewable Energy Laboratory are used in simulation analysis, the results demonstrate that reasonable consideration of the spatial and temporal tail dependence of wind speed can improve the accuracy of the spatial and temporal models, and further improve the accuracy of scenarios.
•A new two-step wind speed scenario generation method is proposed.•Wind speed scenarios with spatiotemporal tail dependence are generated effectively.•Scenarios generated by the proposed method are closer to the original data.

With the high penetration of renewable energy, its intermittency and volatility also bring challenges to traditional power system such as maintaining reliable operation of system and improving the ...utilization of renewable energy. Under the background of Energy Internet (EI), energy router (ER) emerges as the times require. Aiming to improve the ability of support of energy storage units to DC buses and suppressing power shocks both inside and outside the ER, in this paper, an ER based on multi-hybrid energy storage system (MHESS) is proposed. As the principle of maximizing the utilization of renewable energy, a corresponding energy coordinated management strategy is proposed. Charging/discharging timespan optimization model is established to ensure MHESS as available as possible. The reference power of MHESS is allocated based on the proposed optimization model. Simulation analysis of different working conditions in 4 operation scenarios are carried out and the results show that the power oscillation on different buses of ER can be dampened within 0.1s and the bus voltages fluctuate within 2% while operation scenarios are switched, which verifies the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed energy coordinated management strategy.

Gas is an important energy source for urban development and operation, and it is directly related to the daily lives of urban residents. In order to build a complete gas pipeline network, it is ...necessary to optimize the energy structure and strengthen the safety of gas use through a variety of technical means. According to data surveys, there is still a widespread phenomenon of gas leakage, threatening the physical and mental safety of the people. For this reason, the gas pipeline construction department can use the alarm device and relevant technical means to cut off the gas leakage in a timely manner to ensure the safe management of gas use.
In this article, a distributed event-triggered H_{\infty} consensus control strategy is proposed for secondary voltage control of microgrids (MGs) to reduce communication and computational burden. ...The event-triggered is implemented based on periodic sampling. By using the Lyapunov method to design the triggering conditions and sampling period of the distributed generators (DGs), DGs only communicate with their neighbors under certain specific event conditions, and the event triggering conditions are only calculated at the sampling time. Therefore, it avoids continuous communication and the calculation of continuous event-triggered conditions, thereby reducing the communication and computational burden. The simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the control strategy.

This system connects the intelligent gas appliance, intelligent meter, intelligent switch, alarm and other ...equipment in the kitchen through wireless network. The software freely controls the operation of each intelligent equipment, so as to realize the automatic safety monitoring and environmental monitoring of the kitchen, realize the intelligent operation of gas equipment, automatic optimal control of energy consumption, ensure the health and comfort of the kitchen environment, and provide users with intelligent and convenient life services.
Simple equipment for subsurface electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) imaging of a cut sample is described. A two-dimensional EPR image corresponding to the electron spin density distribution of a ...test sample has been obtained by using a marginally oscillating self-detecting microwave frequency EPR spectrometer. Higher spatial resolution is obtained by using a deconvolution algorithm and the image processing technique of inverse filtering. (Original abstract)

Sparse feature based visual-inertial SLAM system shows great potential for accurate pose estimation in real-time, especially for low-cost devices. However, the feature correspondence outliers ...inevitably degrade the localization accuracy, or cause failures. Unlike the existing methods that eliminate outliers by fitting a geometric model, which have high complexity and rely on model hypothesis, we present a general and efficient model-free scheme to address these challenges. In particular, we propose a novel uniform bipartite motion field (UBMF) to exactly measure the spatial transforms of sparse feature correspondences in consecutive frames. Moreover, a new recursive angular tracking consistency (RATC) guided fast feature association algorithm is designed, which can efficiently select correspondence and update UBMF simultaneously, and it also holds the linear computational complexity and theoretical performance guarantee. Furthermore, we develop a lightweight angular tracking consistency guided visual-inertial SLAM (ATVIS) system, which achieves better robustness and outperforms the state-of-the-art methods. Massive qualitative and quantitative validations are conducted by both public benchmarks and different real-world experiments, which extensively demonstrate the superiority of our method in both localization accuracy and computational efficiency.
