As a result of mycological surveys of the territory of Kivertsi National Nature Park “Tsumanska Pushcha” during 2004–2021, 203 species of fungi and fungus-like organisms were detected and registered. ...A comparative analysis of the species composition of the mycoflora of the park was carried out. The most diversified and rich was the phylum Basidiomycota, which comprises 172 species, belonging to 48 genera of 49 families, ten orders of the class Agaricomycetes. Many rare macromycetes that are rare or relatively rare for Ukraine (i.e., Cortinarius bolaris, Craterellus cornucopioides, Entoloma bloxamii, Fistulina hepatica, and Gyroporus castaneus) and listed in the Red Book of Ukraine (Grifola frondosa, Phaeolepiota aurea, Pseudoboletus parasiticus, and Sparassis crispa) have been discovered. For two species listed in the Red Book of Ukraine (Grifola frondosa and Pseudoboletus parasiticus), new localities have been discovered. As of today, the conducted studies expand information about the mycoflora of the Kivertsi National Nature Park “Tsumanska Pushcha”. However, the mycoflora of the park still requires further, more detailed research and inventory.
The problems of society informational support, which demand the creation of modern information management systems fordifferent objects were considered. Particular attention was paid to the detailed ...description and analysis of existing services forkeeping records of scientific activity in higher educational institutions. The necessity of module creating for management thescientific and technical activities, which will allow to optimize the procedure for conducting reports on scientific, technicaland innovative activities, to expand the possibilities for the results analysis, to ensure transparency and objectivity in the procedureof evaluating the teachers’ activities, was revealed and explained. The developed sections of the technical enquirywere given. On the basis of the conducted research the software implemented module for management the scientific andtechnical activity of the department.
The article contains data about the historical and current distribution patterns of Blechnum spicant (Blechnaceae) in Ukraine. This species is quite common in the Carpathian Mountains but is very ...rare in other regions of Ukraine. Until recently, there were only two known localities of B. spicant in the Western Forest-Steppe (within the Podolian Upland) and only one in Crimea. We discovered one new locality of B. spicant in the Polissian (Polesian) Lowland, in Volyn Region. The article provides phytosociological and topographic data on the Polissian population. This population consists of two sub-populations, which are located not far from each other. Both of them were found in an immature birch-pine forest aged approximately 20 years, in an area of former agricultural lands. We summarise the data on the general distribution of B. spicant in Ukraine. The article also provides phytosociological, biotopic and populational information on localities of B. spicant.
Introduction. The incidence of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) is increasing due to war in Ukraine is of growing importance as this disorder is a serious risk factor for alcohol/drug abuse, ...depression, suicide and functional dysregulation of internal organs, in particular cardiovascular, endocrine, immune systems. PTSD can also lead to social inadaptation in family and at work. This makes PTSD a very important social problem in Ukraine that causes significant economic damage, since most of the PTSD patients are young and in working age.
Objectives. The purpose of this paper is to describe the rationale, key elements of design, methodology and future prospects of the ongoing project “Exploratory study of health related physiological and biochemical parameters to identify simple, robust and relevant biomarkers for therapeutic interventions for PTSD patients”.
Methods. Short time ECG records (5 minutes in supine position and 6 minutes in orthostatic test) recorded by “CARDIOLAB” (Kharkiv, Ukraine) digital ECG device with software to analyze HRV was used to calculate time-domain and frequency-domain parameters of HRV.
Results. The pattern of HRV changes indicates suppression of parasympathetic activity, low overall spectral power and dominance of sympathetic branch of autonomic nervous system in participants with PTSD.
Conclusions. PTSD has no effective treatment so far and the best clinical practices rarely reach efficacy of 50%. The realization of the exploratory clinical study described in this paper will provide insights in the mechanisms underlying systemic consequences of PTSD and will build the evidence enabling clinical trial(s) for studying treatment intervention for patients with PTSD.
The dependence of Faraday rotation (FR) of the light polarization phase on the radiation wavelength, the temperature, and the magnetic field for Fe-doped crystals of CdTe and CdSe is investigated. ...The Faraday effect enhancement due to s,p-d exchange interaction is found for Fe-doped SMS (semimagnetic semiconductors). The variation of s,p-d exchange interaction constants estimated for CdTe:Fe samples corresponds to the values known for Mn-containing SMS. Along with a steep drop of the oscillator strength, exciton transition as a consequence of Fe impurity introduction causes a substantial decrease of the Faraday effect amplifying degree in such materials. This phenomenon and the insufficient solubility of Fe-atoms in CdTe and CdSe lattices make the realization of applied aspects of SMS difficult.< >
