In this paper, a novel smart system based on hydroponics is proposed. It is aimed to help educate children by contributing to their improvement on cognitive domain, affective domain and psychomotor ...domain. This hydroponics-based smart education system is task oriented, does not interfere the child's daily needs such as studying and sleeping and includes instant child control. It is an interdisciplinary system which consists of Android application, Raspberry Pi, Web server, MySQL server and hydroponics system components. Improvement of children in terms of cognitive, affective and psychomotor could be contributed with this system's various features.

çalışanlarının büyük çoğunluğunu oluşturan hemşireler afetlere hazırlık ve
hasta bakımında kilit rol oynamaktadır. Afetlere müdahale konusunda yeterli
bilgiye, beceriye, yeterliliğe ve hazırlığa sahip olmaları gerekmektedir. Afet
hemşireliği ve risk yönetiminde eğitim almamakla birlikte afet müdahalesine
katılan sağlık personelinin bu yönde geliştirilmesi gerekmektedir. Bu çalışma,
afetlerde görev alan hemşirelerin, afet konusunda bilgi, beceri, yeterlik, yetkinlik, psikolojik ilk yardım ve afete
hazırlık eğitimlerinin önemini vurgulamak amacıyla yapılmıştır.
Disasters are increasing all around the world. Health care professionals should properly and efficiently intervene and respond to the incidents in the case of a disaster. Traditional health training does not provide realistic experiences related to incidents that are risky or less common such as disasters. Nurses who constitute the majority of health care professionals play a key role in preparation for disasters and patient care. It is required for nurses to possess sufficient knowledge, skill, competence, and preparation regarding the disaster response. This review was conducted in order to emphasize the importance of knowledge, skill, competence and psychological first-aid roles for nurses who are assigned to disasters.
This study is based on detailed data from 11 sea voyages over three years to determine the impact of liquefied natural gas (LNG) use on the decarbonization pathway in maritime transportation. The ...research detailed the vessel's daily fuel consumption, CO2 emission inventories, and Carbon Intensity Indicator (CII). The decision tree method used to evaluate this complex dataset highlights the possible contributions of LNG to maritime energy efficiency and sustainability. While the findings show that LNG reduces CO2 emissions by around 30 %, it is insufficient to meet the International Maritime Organization's (IMO) 2050 targets. The study concludes that LNG should be an important transition fuel until the mid-2030s. However, the maritime sector needs multi-pronged strategies such as technological innovations, stringent regulations and sectoral collaborations to achieve a decarbonized future. This research provides a comprehensive analysis assessing the potential of LNG to achieve the IMO 2050 targets in the context of maritime decarbonization strategies.

İklim değişikliği sonucu kasırga, sel, hortum, kar, fırtına, kuraklık gibi aşırı hava olaylarının sıklığı ve yoğunluğu artmaktadır. Küresel ısınmaya bağlı olarak şiddetli kuraklıklar meydana gelmekte ve bazı bölgelerde su krizleri yaşanmaktadır. Su krizleri meydana geldiği bölgede geniş etkileri olup, ekonomik ve sosyal kayıplar doğurmaktadır. Kuraklık ise yağışların bir bölgede beklenenden daha az olması sonucu ortaya çıkan bir afet türüdür. Dünyanın ikliminde meydana gelen bu değişiklikler insan sağlığını doğrudan ve dolaylı yoldan etkilemektedir. Uzun yıllardır su krizi yaşama riski olan Cape Town’da, 2015-2018 yılları boyunca beklenen normal yağış miktarından az olması sonucu şiddetli bir kuraklık felaketi yaşanmıştır. Yaşanan kuraklıkla baş edebilmek için farklı yöntemler uygulanmış ve buna ek olarak kişi başı su tüketimi günlük 25 litre ile sınırlandırılmıştır. Bu derleme, dünyayı tehdit eden kuraklık tehlikesi ile su krizinin sağlık üzerine etkisini belirtmek amacıyla yapılmıştır.
Afetler, öngörülemeyen bir zamanda bir toplumun günlük yaşamını olumsuz etkileyen ve genellikle sağlık hizmeti ihtiyacına yol açan olaylardır. Bu çalışmanın amacı araştırmaya katılan sağlık ...personellerinin afet ve acil durumlar için hazırlıklı olma durumunun, kendi görüşleri doğrultusunda değerlendirilmesidir. Bu araştırma tanımlayıcı bir çalışma olup araştırma verileri, araştırmacılar tarafından oluşturulan anket ile toplanmış ve 276 anket değerlendirilmiştir.
Katılımcıların %23,2'si kimyasal, biyolojik, radyolojik ve nükleer olayların olması durumunda maruz kalan hastalar için uygulanması gereken prosedürü bildiğini ifade etmiştir. Yangın-patlamalar ile gaz kaçağı durumlarında uygulanacak prosedürleri bildiğini ifade edenlerin payı sırasıyla %35,9 ve %31,5’tir. Katılımcıların %60,2’si hastanede olası bir tahliye durumunda uygulanması gereken prosedürü bilmediğini ya da kısmen bildiğini ifade etmiştir (hayır %29; kısmen %31,2). Araştırmaya katılan sağlık personelinin görüşlerine göre belirlenen afet ve acil durumlara hazırlıklı olma durumunu etkileyen değişkenler; meslekte ve hastanede çalışma yılları, afet deneyimine sahip olmak, afet eğitimi ve tatbikatına katılmak, afet planını okumak, afet planını hazırlamak ve güncelleme çalışmalarına katılım olarak belirlenmiştir.
Çalışmanın bulgularına göre, sağlık personelinin afet ve acil durumlara hazırlıklı olmalarında öncelikle hastane afet planının tüm çalışanlar tarafından bilinmesi ve anlaşılması önemlidir. Bununla birlikte, çalışanların afetlere hazırlık eğitimleri ve tatbikatlarla desteklenmeleri gerekmektedir. Özellikle, mesleğinin ilk yıllarındaki sağlık personeline afet yönetimi eğitimi verilmesi gerektiği düşünülmektedir. Afetlere hazırlık çalışmalarında öncelik verilmesi gereken hususlar kimyasal, biyolojik, radyolojik ve nükleer olaylar ile ilgili prosedürler, terör ve sabotaj gibi durumlarda uygulanacak prosedürler, hastaneden tahliye prosedürleri, triyaj uygulaması gibi konulardır.
Disasters are events that negatively affect the daily life of a society at an unpredictable time and often cause the need for healthcare. The aim of this study is to assess the disaster and emergency situations preparation state of health personnel attending the research, depending on their opinion. This research is a descriptive study. The research data were collected through a questionnaire created by the researchers and 276 surveys were evaluated.
23.2% of the participants stated that they know the procedure to be applied for exposed patients in case of chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear events. The rate of those who stated that they know the procedures to be applied in the case of fire-explosions and gas leakage is 35.9% and 31.5%, respectively. 60.2% of the participants stated that they do not know or partially know the procedure to be followed in case of a possible evacuation in the hospital. (no 29%; partly 31.2%). Variables that increase the level of preparedness for disasters and emergencies determined according to the opinions of the health personnel participating in the research are determined as working years in the profession and in the hospital, having experience in disaster, participation in disaster education and exercise, reading the disaster plan, participation in preparing and updating the disaster plan.
According to the findings of the study, it is important that the hospital disaster plan is known and understood by all employees in the preparation of healthcare personnel for disasters and emergencies. Moreover, it is necessary that employees are supported by disaster preparedness training and exercises. In particular, it is considered that disaster management training should be given to health personnel in the first years of their profession. The issues that should be given priority in disaster preparedness studies are the procedures related to chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear incidents, the procedures to be applied in cases such as terrorism and sabotage, evacuation procedures from the hospital, and the application of triage.
In recent years, with the massive development of new deep learning tools, the production of fake video content has become widespread. This fake content has the potential to cause serious social ...problems. Therefore, detecting fake content is of great importance. For this purpose, we present a new method for deepfake video detection. In most of the studies, which image frames of the videos are selected to be used in the detection models is determined randomly. This randomness can cause important image frames to be missed which can improve detection performance. The proposed method differs from other studies in the literature by determining which image frames to select from the videos with the help of the golden ratio information on the face. The method was developed using three different feature extraction methods, VGG19, EfficientNet B0, EfficientNet B4, and two different capsule network models, CapsuleNet and ArCapsNet. Performance evaluations were performed on Celeb-DF and DFDC-P, two of the currently challenging deepfake video datasets. The results were improved by fusing the best performing models. For Celeb-DF dataset, 93.63% ACC, 99.14% AUC and for DFDC-P dataset, 82.84% ACC, 89.08% AUC were obtained.

Çalışmanın temel hedefi COVID-19 salgını nedeniyle Türkiye’de halkın algısına dayalı olarak psikososyal, sosyo-ekonomik ve olası çevresel krizleri analiz etmek, salgın nedeniyle oluşan acil durum ...sorunlarını ve toplumsal dirençliliği etkileyen unsurları irdelemektir. Bu amaç doğrultusunda COVID-19 Pandemisinin ortaya çıkışı hakkında açıklamalar yapılarak dirençlilik ve acil durum sorunlarından bahsedildikten sonra çalışmanın bulgularına yer verilmiştir. Çalışma kapsamında benzer yapılmış bir başka çalışmadan uyarlanmış ve uzman görüşleri alınmıştır. 333 katılımcıya ulaşılan çalışmada katılımcıların pandemi nedeniyle mental olarak yüksek oranda olumsuz olarak etkilendikleri, ülkemizin sağlık sisteminin kullanımı noktasında sorunlar olduğu, salgına yönelik tedbirlerde devletin daha tutarlı olması gerektiği, pandemi öncesi döneme göre temel ihtiyaç malzemelerinin fiyatlarının çok arttığı, virüsün tespit edilenden fazla kişiye bulaşmış olabileceği ve pandemi devam ederken olabilecek ikincil afetlerin ekonomik etkilerinin ağır olabileceğini düşündükleri sonuçlarına ulaşılmıştır. Yaşanılan bu süreçte ve gelecekte pandemiye dönüşebilecek her türlü salgına karşı tüm yönleriyle hazırlıklı olunması ve politikalar geliştirilmesi, toplumun dirençliliğin tesis edilmesi noktasında oldukça önemli olacaktır.
The main objective of the study is to analyze the psychosocial, socio-economic and possible environmental crises based on the perception of the public in Turkey due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and to try to examine the emergency issues caused by the pandemic and the factors affecting community resilience. For this purpose, after explaining the emergence of the COVID-19 Pandemic, resilience and emergency issuess were mentioned, the findings of the study were included. Within the scope of the study, it was adapted from another similar study and expert opinions were taken. In the study, in which 333 participants were reached, it was concluded that the participants were negatively affected mentally due to the pandemic, there were problems in the use of the health system of our country, the state should be more consistent in the measures against the pandemic, the prices of basic necessities increased significantly compared to the pre-pandemic period, the virus may have been transmitted to more people than detected. and that may happen while the pandemic continues It was concluded that they thought that the economic effects of secondary disasters could be severe. In this process we live in and in the future, it will be very important to be prepared in all aspects and to develop policies against any epidemic that may turn into a pandemic, at the point of establishing the resilience of our society.
The Covid-19 pandemic has recently created an environment of chaos that modern societies have not experienced. The reactions of countries and societies to this new situation are different. The health ...policies implemented by countries in the fight against the outbreak during the Covid-19 pandemic process have an impact on the resilience of communities and constitute a determining factor in all kinds of losses. The concept of resilience has been increasingly used in the literature in recent years. Resilience, as a word meaning, is defined as the capacity of a system to continue its functions with the reactions it gives to the external effects it is exposed to. The purpose of this research is to explain the difficulties faced by societies during the Covid-19 pandemic process with selected country examples in the relationship of resilience. In this context, the countries of China, South Korea, Japan, Russia, India, the United States of America and Brazil were evaluated in terms of significant health policy differences and the losses suffered by the societies. Administrative or political skills of countries, existence of processes that ensure transparency, infrastructure and capacity of health systems and social capital determine the resilience capacity.
Covid-19 pandemisi yakın dönemde modern toplumların deneyimlememiş olduğu bir kaos ortamı yaratmıştır. Ortaya çıkan bu yeni duruma ülkelerin ve toplumların göstermiş olduğu tepkiler farklılaşmaktadır. Covid-19 pandemisi sürecinde salgınla mücadelede ülkelerin uygulamış olduğu sağlık politikaları, toplumların dirençliliği üzerinde etkili olmakta ve oluşan her türlü kayıpta belirleyici bir unsur oluşturmaktadır. Dirençlilik kavramı ise son yıllarda literatürde giderek artan bir kullanıma sahip olmaktadır. Dirençlilik, kelime anlamı olarak bir sistemin maruz kaldığı dış etkilere karşı verdiği tepkilerle fonksiyonlarını sürdürebilme kapasitesi olarak tanımlanmaktadır. Bu araştırmanın amacı seçilmiş ülke örnekleriyle toplumların Covid-19 pandemisi sürecinde karşılaştıkları zorlukları dirençlilik ilişkisi içerisinde açıklamaktır. Bu çerçevede Çin, Güney Kore, Japonya, Rusya, Hindistan, Amerika Birleşik Devletleri ve Brezilya ülkeleri belirgin sağlık politikaları farklılıkları ve toplumların yaşadıkları kayıplar ölçüsünde değerlendirilmiştir. Dirençlilik kapasitesinde ülkelerin yönetsel veya politik becerisi, şeffaflığı sağlayan süreçlerin varlığı, sağlık sistemleri altyapı ve kapasitesi ve sosyal sermaye belirleyici olmaktadır.

Water scarcity will become more common worldwide in the future due to climate change. These changes affects the environmental conditions necessary to maintain a healthy state negatively and has various impacts on the ecological balance of the world. As a result of climate change, the frequency and intensity of extreme weather events such as hurricanes, floods, tornadoes, storms, snow and drought increase. Due to global warming, severe droughts occur and some areas experience water crises. Water crises have wide effects in the region where they occur and cause economic and social losses. Droughts are a type of natural disaster that occurs as a result of less precipitation than expected in a region. These changes in the climate of the world affect human health directly and indirectly. Who have been at risk of water crisis for many years the city of Cape Town Between 2015 and 2018, experienced severe drought disaster as a result of less precipitation than expected normal amounts. Various methods were applied to manage the drought and water consumption per capita was limited to 25 liters per day. This review paper was prepared to indicate the impact of the water crisis and the drought hazard threatening the world on health.
