In this paper the simulation results of the spectral sensitivity characteristics of silicon p-i-n-photodiodes are presented. The analysis of the characteristics of the semiconductor material (the ...doping level, lifetime, surface recombination velocity), the construction and operation modes on the characteristics of photosensitive structures in order to optimize them was carried out.
The regularities of structure formation of dispersion strengthened composite aluminum powders have been studied using transmission electron microscopy and X-ray structural analysis during reactive ...mechanical alloying in the presence of stearic acid. It has been established that the treatment is accompanied by mechanochemical transformations forming phase composition and structure in particles of composite powder. The formed fine structure is characterized by high stability, and subsequent annealing of powdered compositions at temperatures close to aluminum melting point does not lead to its significant modification.

This paper describes the principle of operation, construction, architecture and fabrication of a new type of monolithic silicon coordinate photodetector - detector of optical and ionizing radiation ...(MSCP) on the basis of functional integrated MOS structures. The analytical estimation of electrophysical characteristics MSCP is given. It is shown that MSCP is a specialized monolithic silicon VLSI containing two-dimensional pixel array with high and low voltage functionally integrated structures (FIS) and peripheral electronic circuits of amplification and signal processing matrix. Estimations and presents comparative characteristics are presented. They show potential MSCP possibilities for registration of optical and ionizing radiation. Experimental results of α-particles and electrons registration. The possible areas of application, with the possibility of its use in a wide X-ray panels medical supplies, X-rays, etc are considered.
In this paper a new approach for solving the detection and coordinate the detection of radiation in the optical range of 0.3-1.1 microns, based on the use of so-called bipolar functionally integrated ...structures (BI-FIS) in pixels photodetector arrays is discussed. Variants of new technical solutions based on photo-detectors matrix pixel BI-FIS structures are shown. Their effectiveness and scope are evaluated.

The study includes 41 sample sets of chum salmon from the northern part of its geographic range analyzed at ten microsatellite loci. In the northern part of the range of Asian chum salmon, the ...following groups of samples are clearly distinguished: “Magadan oblast,” “Northern Kamchatka,” “Penzhina River,” and “Anadyr River basin.” Populations of chum salmon from the Apuka River and the “Koryak Upland” group show low genetic differentiation from other groups. There is a positive relationship between the latitude and the average expected heterozygosity in this part of the range. Chum salmon of the Penzhina River shows close genetic relationship to chum salmon from the Anadyr River basin, probably because of gene flow.

Operation principle and possible applications of a novel type of silicon integrated circuit (IC) device -injection-coupled device (ICD) - are addressed. Examples of possible ICD electrical and ...physical designs are examined in detail. These are based on the existing CMOS and use bipolar technologies. It is shown that in active mode only one cell of ICD-based sensor chain consumes power. This circumstance enables one to achieve an extraordinarily low power consumption compared to the CMOS ICs. This is because the power consumption of an ICD as a whole is not different of that of a single cell in its IC matrix. These advantages make ICDs highly attractive for a number of important applications, such as, e.g., radiation detectors or magnetic and thermal field detectors.
In the paper a simulation program for photovoltaic parameters of semiconductor devices and results of their investigation are presented. The results of the program usage based on an example of ...calculating the influence of the high-resistance "well" thickness in the silicon p-i-n-diode spectral response are discussed. For the accuracy of the program estimation it was compared the theoretical spectral characteristics of a silicon PIN-diode 5 kOhm substrate with the experimental data.
We present the results of lidar measurements of the vertical distribution of optical parameters of anomalous aerosol formations in the atmosphere and the polarization state of backscattered sounding ...radiation, obtained in Tomsk (56.48°N; 85.05°E) and Surgut (61.25°N; 73.43°E) in April–May 2010. Data from measurements using back trajectory analysis of atmospheric air-mass transport according to the NOAA HYSPLIT MODEL showed that the observed anomalous aerosol formations were due to transport of the products of the Eyjafjallajökull volcano eruption in Iceland (April 14, 2010). First traces of the volcanic eruption were recorded in the troposphere over Tomsk on April 19. The volcanic aerosol persisted in the troposphere for about 10 days in total; it penetrated into the stratosphere insignificantly and could not have noticeable long-term radiation and thermal effects.

Multiyear lidar measurements of characteristics of stratospheric aerosol layer, made at midlatitude observatories in Tomsk (56.5°N, 85.0°E) and Minsk (53.9°N, 27.5°E), are analyzed and used to study ...the processes of long-term relaxation of the aerosol-perturbed stratosphere after powerful volcanic eruptions to background state. The absence of significant seasonal variations of vertical stratification of stratospheric aerosol and exponential altitudinal decrease of aerosol backscattering coefficient are proposed as criteria of background state of stratospheric aerosol layer for Northern Hemisphere midlatitudes.
