Memristors are emerging as a rising star of new computing and information storage techniques. However, the practical applications are severely challenged by their instability toward harsh conditions, ...including high moisture, high temperatures, fire, ionizing irradiation, and mechanical bending. In this work, for the first time, lead‐free double perovskite Cs2AgBiBr6 is utilized for environmentally robust memristors, enabling highly efficient information storage. The memory performance of the typical indium‐tin‐oxide/Cs2AgBiBr6/Au sandwich‐like memristors is retained after 1000 switching cycles, 105 s of reading, and 104 times of mechanical bending, comparable to other halide perovskite memristors. Most importantly, the memristive behavior remains robust in harsh environments, including humidity up to 80%, temperatures as high as 453 K, an alcohol burner flame for 10 s, and 60Co γ‐ray irradiation for a dosage of 5 × 105 rad (SI), which is not achieved by any other memristors and commercial flash memory techniques. The realization of an environmentally robust memristor from Cs2AgBiBr6 with a high memory performance will inspire further development of robust electronics using lead‐free double perovskites.
Double perovskite Cs2AgBiBr6 is fabricated into an indium tin oxide/Cs2AgBiBr6/Au device for the first time. Ultrastable memristive behavior is obtained owing to the tough crystallinity of Cs2AgBiBr6. Humidity‐, high temperature‐, fire‐, and radiation‐resistant properties of Cs2AgBiBr6‐based devices promote memristive devices to work in harsh environments, where most perovskite‐based devices may fail to work.

With the increasing emphasis and application of the flooding control and mitigation measures of detention tank (DT) and low impact development (LID) in urban stormwater drainage systems (USDSs), the ...complex drainage flow process and corresponding water quality issues have also aroused great of interests and attentions from researchers and practitioners. This paper contributes to study the urban flooding control and water quality management with the implementation of DTs and LIDs in the USDS. A many-objective optimization (MOO) based design framework and analysis method is developed for achieving four objectives of USDS design. A realistic USDS is adopted for the case study, in which the DTs and LIDs are implemented by this extended MOO-based design method to achieve the optimal result of flooding risk control and water quality improvement. The obtained results are further analyzed for the characteristics of flooding risk control and water quality component evolution in the USDS. The results and analysis demonstrate the effectiveness and applicability of the designed DTs and LIDs to mitigate the flooding risk and improve water quality in USDS.
The modular multilevel converter (MMC) with half-bridge submodules (SMs) is the most promising technology for high-voltage direct current (HVDC) grids, but it lacks dc fault clearance capability. ...There are two main methods to handle the dc-side short-circuit fault. One is to employ the SMs that have dc fault clearance capability, but the power losses are high and the converter has to be blocked during the clearance. The other is to employ the hybrid HVDC breakers. The breaker is capable of interrupting fault current within 5 ms, but this technology is not cost effective, especially in meshed HVDC grids. In this paper, an assembly HVDC breaker and the corresponding control strategy are proposed to overcome these drawbacks. The assembly HVDC breaker consists of an active short-circuit breaker (ASCB), a main mechanical disconnector, a main breaker, and an accessory discharging switch (ADS). When a dc-side short-circuit fault occurs, the ASCB and the ADS close immediately to shunt the fault current. The main breaker opens after a short delay to isolate the faulted line from the system and then the mechanical disconnector opens. With the disconnector in open position, the ASCB opens and breaks the current. The proposed breaker can handle the dc-side fault with competitively low cost, and the operating speed is fast enough. A model of a four-terminal monopolar HVDC grid is developed in Power Systems Computer Aided Design / Electromagnetic Transients including DC, and the simulation result proves the validity and the feasibility of the proposed solution.

Topological phases in electronic structures contain a new type of topology, called fragile, which can arise, for example, when an elementary band representation (atomic limit band) splits into a ...particular set of bands. For the first time, we obtain a complete classification of the fragile topological phases, which can be diagnosed by symmetry eigenvalues, to find an incredibly rich structure that far surpasses that of stable or strong topological states. We find and enumerate hundreds of thousands of different fragile topological phases diagnosed by symmetry eigenvalues, and we link the mathematical structure of these phases to that of affine monoids in mathematics. Furthermore, for the first time, we predict and calculate (hundreds of realistic) materials where fragile topological bands appear, and we showcase the very best ones.

The lack of high-quality financial innovation talents has become an obvious shortcoming in the development of financial innovation, and the call for the cultivation of talents to adapt to the ...increasingly changing new economic environment has become increasingly urgent. This study extracted the key factors affecting the cultivation of financial innovation talents by preprocessing the relevant data and eliminating the unreasonable information, and used factor analysis to remove the key factors influencing the cultivation of financial innovation talents, and used Pearson’s correlation coefficient method and correlation rule analysis algorithm to analyze the interrelationships between these factors in depth. The analysis results show that the correlation coefficients between the level of economic development and educational background and technological innovation reach 0.69 and 0.58, respectively, while the correlation coefficient between the level of human capital and the level of technological innovation is 0.46. Analyzing the level of financial innovation talent cultivation, we find that financial innovation development grows from about 22.5% to about 37.5% from 2016 to 2023. At the same time the amount of financial innovation talent grows from 490,000 to 880,000 people. However, the growth of financial innovation talent is gradually slowing down, pointing to the urgent need to develop talent. The strategies and suggestions put forward in this study provide essential references for cultivating financial innovation talents in the future, aiming to promote the sustainable development of financial innovation and the optimization of talent structure.
Dynamic noncovalent interactions with reversible nature are critical for the integral synthesis of self-healing biological materials. In this work, we developed a simple one-pot strategy to prepare a ...fully physically cross-linked nanocomposite hydrogel through the formation of the hydrogen bonds and dual metal-carboxylate coordination bonds within supramolecular networks, in which iron ions (Fe3+) and TEMPO oxidized cellulose nanofibrils (CNFs) acted as cross-linkers and led to the improved mechanical strength, toughness, time-dependent self-recovery capability and self-healing property. The spectroscopic analysis and rheological measurements corroborated the existence of hydrogen bonds and dual coordination bonds. The mechanical tests and microscopic morphology were explored to elucidate the recovery properties and toughening mechanisms. The hydrogen bonds tend to preferentially break prior to the coordination bonds associated complexes that act as skeleton to maintain primary structure integrity, and the survived coordination bonds with dynamic feature also serve as sacrificial bonds to dissipate another amount of energy after the rupture of hydrogen bonds, which collectively maximize the contribution of sacrificial bonds to energy dissipation while affording elasticity. Additionally, the multiple noncovalent interactions in diverse types synergistically serve as dynamic but highly stable associations, leading to the effective self-healing efficiency over 90% after damage. We expect that this facile strategy of incorporating the biocompatible and biodegradable CNFs as building blocks may enrich the avenue in exploration of dynamic and tunable cellulosic hydrogels to expand their potential applications in the biomedical field.

The safety of energy storage equipment has always been a stumbling block to the development of battery, and sodium ion battery is no exception. However, as an ultimate solution, the use of ...non‐flammable electrolyte is susceptible to the side effects, and its poor compatibility with electrode, causing failure of batteries. Here, we report a non‐flammable electrolyte design to achieve high‐performance sodium ion battery, which resolves the dilemma via regulating the solvation structure of electrolyte by hydrogen bonds and optimizing the electrode–electrolyte interphase. The reported non‐flammable electrolyte allows stable charge‐discharge cycling of both sodium vanadium phosphate@hard carbon and Prussian blue@hard carbon full pouch cell for more than 120 cycles with a capacity retention of >85 % and high cycling Coulombic efficiency (99.7 %).
Safety is always a topic of concern after reports of devices catching fire due to battery failure. Using non‐flammable electrolyte as an ultimate solution is difficult to be applied to commercial batteries because of various problems such as poor compatibility, high viscosity and so on. Here, we report a non‐flammable electrolyte with excellent comprehensive performance, and applied it to sodium‐ion pouch cells with different promising materials.
