Mathematics is considered a difficult and boring subject because it involves numbers, symbols, and formulas. The use of culture associated with mathematics will provide new experiences for students ...in learning mathematics so that it will not cause boredom. The fundamental mathematical aspect that will be observed is the motif and the process by which puppets are made. The purpose of this research to describe fundamental mathematical activity according to Bishop on the shadow puppets craft. The type of research was descriptive qualitative with ethnographic approach. The data collection method that used were interviews, observations, documentation, and references. This research show that mathematics aspect of the shadow puppet craft according to Bishop: (1) counting include a long time of manufacture, number of puppets, number of tools and materials; (2) locating included the division of land, boundaries, placement of motifs; (3) measuring included fat content, calculation size and weight of the device, symmetrical motif size, color mix ratio, gradation level; (4) designing incuded the shapes of tools and materials, sketching, motifs, lines; (5) playing induded the steps and process production; and (6) explaining included the meaning of motifs, the use of tatah, and the application of color. In addition, the fundamental aspects of mathematics in the process of making puppets can be implemented in junior high schools in the form of questions.

By using scientific learning, curriculum 2013 is expected to form the character of students in accordance with the 18 characters that are desired by the Government, that is: religious, honest, tolerance, discipline, hard work, creative, independent, democratic, curiosity, passion, love of the fatherland, to appreciate the achievements, communicative, peace-loving, an avid reader, care for the environment, social care, and responsibility. The character values that are integrated in the scientific learning through observing activities, ask yourself, try, analyze, and communication. With a scientific approach in the curriculum of 2013, educators are able to make learning more fun, more active, more challenging, and more to give space to the students to develop their creativity and potential, and make students become more self help in addressing a problem.

This research includes qualitative field research, using a case study approach to perfrom deep ekspolasi and research informants using purposive sampling. Data collection techniques using, observation, interviews, and documentation while the data analysis techniques uses data reduction, data display and verification.
The results of this study indicate that the pesantren learning model in fostering the morality of students in pondok pesantren Sabilul Hasanah Banyuasin getting very good attention from the pesantren. This is shown from the rules which are applied by the pesantren which is arranged through manners and laws pesantren Sabilul Hasanah Banyuasin. Supporting factors in fostering student morality seen from the pesantren environment and ways of parenting the chaplain. Inhibiting factors in discussing the morality of students consisting of internal factor that come from within the student and external factor originating from the family and community evironment.
Inflammation is a normal protective reaction against tissue damage caused by physical injury, harmful chemicals, and protein denaturation. Protein denaturation is a process in which proteins lose ...their tertiary structure and secondary structure due to foreign substances, external compounds, such as strong acids, strong bases, organic salts, organic solvents, and heating. The purpose of this study was to determine the anti-inflammatory activity of ethanol extract and ethyl acetate fraction of the seed coat of Kebiul (Caesalpinia bonduc L.) by calculating the IC50 value of protein denaturation in the sample. The results of the phytochemical test of the ethanol extract of Kebiul seeds contained flavonoids, alkaloids, terpenoids, steroids, saponins, and tannins, while the ethyl acetate fraction only contained tannins and alkaloids. The results of the anti-inflammatory test showed that the highest percent inhibition value of sodium diclofenac, ethanol extract, and ethyl acetate fraction, respectively, at a concentration of 20 ppm was 84.8%; 84.1%; and 50%. The IC50 values of sodium diclofenac, ethanol extract, and ethyl acetate fraction were 5.4 μg/mL; 9.9 μg/mL; and 13.3 μg/mL, respectively. The three samples had percent inhibition values exceeding 20% which indicated that all three can be used as an anti-inflammatory.

This ...study aims to compare the antiinflammatory activity of ethanol extract, ethanol fraction, and n-hexane fraction from kebiul (Caesalpinia bonduc L.) seed coat. Antiinflammatory activity was tested by measuring the % inhibition of the denatured protein using a UV-Vis spectrophotometer. From the result of the study obtained IC50 value 2,10 μg/mL, 7,89 μg/mL, 4,04 μg/mL & 11,03 μg/mL.

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui aktivitas antibakteri senyawa tanin daun mimba (Azzadirachta indica) terhadap bakteri Salmonella Typhi dengan menggunakan metode difusi cakram. Uji aktivitas antibakteri ditentukan berdasarkan diameter daya hambat senyawa tanin terhadap bakteri Salmonella typhi. Uji Fitokimia Ekstrak metanol daun mimba positif mengandung tanin, flavonoid, alkaloid, steroid, dan saponin. Pemisahan senyawa tanin dari ekstrak metanol menghasilkan nilai rendemen sebesar 69.6 %. Hasil pengujian antibakteri senyawa tanin dapat menghambat bakteri Salmonella typhi berturut-turut pada konsentrasi 15%, 30%, 50%, dan 75% yaitu sebesar 15.03, 16.78, 19.02, 21.78 mm dengan klasifikasi kuat sampai sangat kuat berdasarkan klasifikasi Davis & Stout.
Geographic information systems have been widely applied in the health sector, including to determine the location of medical clinics, midwife clinics, and pharmacies. Currently, in Batam City, there ...is no mapping-based system that is used to find out the distribution of pharmacy locations, so it is very difficult for the public to get information on the location of pharmacies that are close to their location. Therefore, in this study, an information system for mapping the location of pharmacies in Batam City was made by adopting GIS technology. The study used a descriptive analysis approach and was developed using the waterfall method in software development and UML as a design tool. The system produced in this study is proven to be able to provide pharmacy location information and assist admins in managing pharmacy location data.
