The associated production of a Higgs boson and a top-quark pair is measured in events characterised by the presence of one or two electrons or muons. The Higgs boson decay into a
b
-quark ...pair is used. The analysed data, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 139 fb
−
1
, were collected in proton-proton collisions at the Large Hadron Collider between 2015 and 2018 at a centre-of-mass energy of
s
= 13 TeV. The measured signal strength, defined as the ratio of the measured signal yield to that predicted by the Standard Model, is
0.35
−
0.34
+
0.36
. This result is compatible with the Standard Model prediction and corresponds to an observed (expected) significance of 1.0 (2.7) standard deviations. The signal strength is also measured differentially in bins of the Higgs boson transverse momentum in the simplified template cross-section framework, including a bin for specially selected boosted Higgs bosons with transverse momentum above 300 GeV.

ABSTRACT
V906 Carinae was one of the best observed novae of recent times. It was a prolific dust producer and harboured shocks in the early evolving ejecta outflow. Here, we take a close look at the ...consequences of these early interactions through study of high-resolution Ultraviolet and Visual Echelle spectrograph spectroscopy of the nebular stage and extrapolate backwards to investigate how the final structure may have formed. A study of ejecta geometry and shaping history of the structure of the shell is undertaken following a spectral line $\rm {\small SHAPE}$ model fit. A search for spectral tracers of shocks in the nova ejecta is undertaken and an analysis of the ionized environment. Temperature, density, and abundance analyses of the evolving nova shell are presented.
Additional jet activity in dijet events is measured using Formula: see text collisions at ATLAS at a centre-of-mass energy of Formula: see text, for jets reconstructed using the Formula: see text ...algorithm with radius parameter Formula: see text. This is done using variables such as the fraction of dijet events without an additional jet in the rapidity interval bounded by the dijet subsystem and correlations between the azimuthal angles of the dijet s. They are presented, both with and without a veto on additional jet activity in the rapidity interval, as a function of the scalar average of the transverse momenta of the dijet s and of the rapidity interval size. The double differential dijet cross section is also measured as a function of the interval size and the azimuthal angle between the dijet s. These variables probe differences in the approach to resummation of large logarithms when performing QCD calculations. The data are compared to powheg, interfaced to the pythia 8 and herwig parton shower generators, as well as to hej with and without interfacing it to the ariadne parton shower generator. None of the theoretical predictions agree with the data across the full phase-space considered; however, powheg+pythia 8 and hej+ariadne are found to provide the best agreement with the data. These measurements use the full data sample collected with the ATLAS detector in Formula: see textFormula: see text collisions at the LHC and correspond to integrated luminosities of Formula: see text and Formula: see text for data collected during 2010 and 2011, respectively.

Introduction
The Models of Patient Engagement for Alzheimer's Disease (MOPEAD) project was conceived to explore innovative complementary strategies to uncover hidden prodromal and mild Alzheimer's ...disease (AD) dementia cases and to raise awareness both in the general public and among health professionals about the importance of early diagnosis.
Methods
Four different strategies or RUNs were used: (a) a web‐based (WB) prescreening tool, (2) an open house initiative (OHI), (3) a primary care–based protocol for early detection of cognitive decline (PC), and (4) a tertiary care–based pre‐screening at diabetologist clinics (DC).
Results
A total of 1129 patients at high risk of having prodromal AD or dementia were identified of 2847 pre‐screened individuals (39.7%). The corresponding proportion for the different initiatives were 36.8% (WB), 35.6% (OHI), 44.4% (PC), and 58.3% (DC).
Conclusion
These four complementary pre‐screening strategies were useful for identifying individuals at high risk of having prodromal or mild AD.

ATLAS measurements of the azimuthal anisotropy in lead-lead collisions at Formula: see text TeV are shown using a dataset of approximately 7 Formula: see textbFormula: see text collected at the LHC ...in 2010. The measurements are performed for charged particles with transverse momenta Formula: see text GeV and in the pseudorapidity range Formula: see text. The anisotropy is characterized by the Fourier coefficients, Formula: see text, of the charged-particle azimuthal angle distribution for Formula: see text-4. The Fourier coefficients are evaluated using multi-particle cumulants calculated with the generating function method. Results on the transverse momentum, pseudorapidity and centrality dependence of the Formula: see text coefficients are presented. The elliptic flow, Formula: see text, is obtained from the two-, four-, six- and eight-particle cumulants while higher-order coefficients, Formula: see text and Formula: see text, are determined with two- and four-particle cumulants. Flow harmonics Formula: see text measured with four-particle cumulants are significantly reduced compared to the measurement involving two-particle cumulants. A comparison to Formula: see text measurements obtained using different analysis methods and previously reported by the LHC experiments is also shown. Results of measurements of flow fluctuations evaluated with multi-particle cumulants are shown as a function of transverse momentum and the collision centrality. Models of the initial spatial geometry and its fluctuations fail to describe the flow fluctuations measurements.

In most, if not all health systems, dementia is underdiagnosed, and when diagnosis occurs, it is typically at a relatively late stage in the disease process despite mounting evidence showing that a ...timely diagnosis would result in numerous benefits for patients, families, and society. Moving toward earlier diagnoses in Alzheimer's disease (AD) requires a conscientious and collective effort to implement a global strategy addressing the multiple causes hindering patient engagement at different levels of society. This article describes the design of the Models of Patient Engagement for Alzheimer's Disease project, an ongoing EU-funded public-private multinational initiative that will compare four innovative patient engagement strategies across five European countries regarding their ability to identify individuals with prodromal AD and mild AD dementia, which are “hidden” in their communities and traditionally not found in the typical memory clinic setting. The strategies include an online AD citizen science platform, an open house initiative at the memory clinics, and patient engagement at primary care and diabetologist clinics.

Tumor resistance to chemotherapy may be present at the beginning of treatment, develop during treatment, or become apparent on re-treatment of the patient. The mechanisms involved are usually ...inferred from experiments with cell lines, as studies in tumor-derived cells are difficult. Studies of human tumors show that cells adapt to chemotherapy, but it has been largely assumed that clonal selection leads to the resistance of recurrent tumors.
Cells derived from 47 tumors of breast, ovarian, esophageal, and colorectal origin and 16 paired esophageal biopsies were exposed to anticancer agents (cisplatin; 5-fluorouracil; epirubicin; doxorubicin; paclitaxel; irinotecan and topotecan) in short-term cell culture (6 days). Real-time quantitative PCR was used to measure up- or down-regulation of 16 different resistance/target genes, and when tissue was available, immunohistochemistry was used to assess the protein levels.
In 8/16 paired esophageal biopsies, there was an increase in the expression of multi-drug resistance gene 1 (MDR1) following epirubicin + cisplatin + 5-fluorouracil (ECF) chemotherapy and this was accompanied by increased expression of the MDR-1 encoded protein, P-gp. Following exposure to doxorubicin in vitro, 13/14 breast carcinomas and 9/12 ovarian carcinomas showed >2-fold down-regulation of topoisomerase IIalpha (TOPOIIalpha). Exposure to topotecan in vitro, resulted in >4-fold down-regulation of TOPOIIalpha in 6/7 colorectal tumors and 8/10 ovarian tumors.
This study suggests that up-regulation of resistance genes or down-regulation in target genes may occur rapidly in human solid tumors, within days of the start of treatment, and that similar changes are present in pre- and post-chemotherapy biopsy material. The molecular processes used by each tumor appear to be linked to the drug used, but there is also heterogeneity between individual tumors, even those with the same histological type, in the pattern and magnitude of response to the same drugs. Adaptation to chemotherapy may explain why prediction of resistance mechanisms is difficult on the basis of tumor type alone or individual markers, and suggests that more complex predictive methods are required to improve the response rates to chemotherapy.

Abstract
The ATLAS Fast TracKer (FTK) was designed to provide full tracking for the ATLAS high-level trigger by using
pattern recognition based on Associative Memory (AM) chips and fitting in ...high-speed field programmable gate arrays.
The tracks found by the FTK are based on inputs from all modules of the pixel and silicon microstrip trackers.
The as-built FTK system and components are described, as is the online software used to control them while running in the ATLAS data acquisition system.
Also described is the simulation of the FTK hardware and the optimization of the AM pattern banks.
An optimization for long-lived particles with large impact parameter values is included.
A test of the FTK system with the data playback facility that allowed the FTK to be commissioned during the shutdown between Run 2 and Run 3 of the LHC is reported.
The resulting tracks from part of the FTK system covering a limited η–ϕ region of the detector
are compared with the output from the FTK simulation.
It is shown that FTK performance is in good agreement with the simulation.
V392 Persei is a known dwarf nova (DN) that underwent a classical nova eruption in 2018. Here we report ground-based optical, Swift UV and X-ray, and Fermi-LAT \gamma-ray observations following the ...eruption for almost three years. V392 Per is one of the fastest evolving novae yet observed, with a \(t_2\) decline time of 2 days. Early spectra present evidence for multiple and interacting mass ejections, with the associated shocks driving both the \gamma-ray and early optical luminosity. V392 Per entered Sun-constraint within days of eruption. Upon exit, the nova had evolved to the nebular phase, and we saw the tail of the super-soft X-ray phase. Subsequent optical emission captured the fading ejecta alongside a persistent narrow line emission spectrum from the accretion disk. Ongoing hard X-ray emission is characteristic of a standing accretion shock in an intermediate polar. Analysis of the optical data reveals an orbital period of 3.230 \pm 0.003 days, but we see no evidence for a white dwarf (WD) spin period. The optical and X-ray data suggest a high mass WD, the pre-nova spectral energy distribution (SED) indicates an evolved donor, and the post-nova SED points to a high mass accretion rate. Following eruption, the system has remained in a nova-like high mass transfer state, rather than returning to the pre-nova DN low mass transfer configuration. We suggest that this high state is driven by irradiation of the donor by the nova eruption. In many ways, V392 Per shows similarity to the well-studied nova and DN GK Persei.
