Abstract
The Orenburg region belongs to the dry-steppe regions with a sharply continental climate, the efficiency of crop production in which depends on the amount of precipitation. Due to the ...natural and climatic conditions of the region, precipitation in the form of snow is used irrationally, which leads to a decrease in the amount of potential soil moisture. Lack of moisture negatively affects the quality of crop production processes and the state of the soil itself. To solve this problem, it is proposed to implement measures for mechanized snow retention in agricultural fields. Technical and technological disadvantages of the classic mechanized snow retention are established. Negative components of the classical technology are the need for additional costs for winter events and the forced additional impact on the soil of heavy equipment. As a solution to the problem, it is advisable to accumulate snow on high stubble residues formed simultaneously with the process of harvesting grain crops. It was found that for the Orenburg region, taking into account the natural and climatic features, it is advisable to use a Reaper for two-phase harvesting of grain crops by a batch method with a device for the formation of high stubble residues. A dependence was established to determine the optimal share of the field area with stubble residues for effective snow retention. The optimal values of the interdependent parameters of the Reaper reel and the reel of the stubble residue formation device are revealed. The analysis of experimental field studies showed that the formed stubble residues allow accumulating the amount of snow, which increases the moisture reserves in the soil in the spring period by about two times. The feasibility study of the proposed solution showed the feasibility of its application and allowed us to establish the level of profit from the increase in yield due to an increase in the amount of moisture in the soil as a result of snow retention.
An original study was conducted and risk factors predisposing to the development of acute renal dysfunction (ARD) were identified, the frequency and consequences of ARD after revascularization ...operations on the lower extremities were established, and data from scientific articles on this topic were studied and summarized. The aim of the study was to investigate the circumstances of the risk of ARD in patients who underwent revascularization due to peripheral arterial disease.
Material and methods
. The signs of ARD development were prospectively studied in 101 patients operated on the aorto-iliac segment for peripheral atherosclerosis, including aneurysmal disease. Manifestations of ARD registered according to RIFLE recommendations were observed in 40 patients. Hemodynamic parameters, creatinine levels, diuresis, concomitant diseases, and the course of the postoperative period were analyzed.
Results
. The incidence of ARD was significantly higher in persons with diabetes mellitus, cardiac pathology and manifestations of generalized atherosclerosis, as well as after emergency interventions. The probability of ARD is especially high against the background of hemodynamic instability and blood loss of more than 1000 ml, including with manifestations of centralization of blood circulation.
Conclusions
. Massive blood loss with manifestations of hemodynamic instability, as well as cardiac disorders, has a decisive influence on the development of ARD after operations on the aorto-iliac segment.
Modeling of a broadband receiving system based on a meander series of Josephson YBaCuO grain boundary junctions integrated into a log-periodic antenna was carried out. The electromagnetic properties ...of the system, namely amplitude-frequency characteristic, beam pattern, and fraction of the absorbed power in each Josephson junction were investigated. Based on the obtained results, a numerical simulation of one-dimensional arrays was carried out. The dc characteristics of the detector were calculated, that is, current-voltage characteristic, responsivity, noise, and noise-equivalent power (NEP) for a 250 GHz external signal. The optimal number of junctions to obtain the minimum NEP was found. The use of a series of junctions allows one to increase the responsivity by a factor of 2.5, the NEP value by a factor of 1.5, and the power dynamic range by a factor of 5. For typical YBaCuO Josephson junctions fabricated on a ZrYO bicrystal substrate by magnetron deposition, the following parameters were obtained at a temperature of 77 K: responsivity = 9 kV/W; NEP = 3·10
W/Hz
; power dynamic range = 1·10

The spatial variability of the water regime determined by peat-deposit structure and surface slope is characteristic of watershed forested peatlands and shallow-peat forests that belong to similar ...forest types The specific features of the water regime determine the tree-stand structure, the composition of the herb–shrub and moss tiers, and the reaction to climatic changes of the past. The history of forested peatlands formation is comparable in duration to that of large peatbog massifs formation. An increase in wood-macrofossils content in peat is characteristic of warm periods of the Holocene. Conversely, a decrease in wood-macrofossils content accompanied by an increase in sphagnum moss remains, intensive growth of the deposit, and paludification of the adjacent forests were timed to the cold periods. The climatic factor was shown to determine the general direction of forested peatlands development, whereas the hydrological features of the site determined the variety of scenarios and resistance to environmental changes.

Purpose: to contribute to relief of metabolic disorders associated with hypoxia by including a succinate correcting tissue metabolism into the scheme of intensive care of acute severe methadone ...poisoning complicated by the crush syndrome.Materials and methods. We examined the dynamics of clinical manifestation of acute methadone poisoning complicated by crush syndrome: changes in clinical and biochemical parameters, coagulation test findings, blood gas composition and acid-base state, ECG and X-ray findings.Results. By the 7th day after patient's admission in the ICU, stabilization of hemodynamics, recovery of spontaneous breathing and consciousness, reduction of swelling and the beginning of the formation of pressure ulcers were observed; on the 8 the day, restoration of urination and characteristics of urine were registered. On the 12th day, the patient was transferred to the toxicology unit being in a state of moderate severity and demonstrating positive changes in all clinical parameters.Conclusion. The inclusion of a drug with antioxidant/antihypoxant properties in the infusion therapy scheme allows to relieve metabolic disorders associated with hypoxia, and thereby increase the effectiveness of treatment: i.e. to relief clinical and laboratory manifestations and reduce the ICU stay.
This clinical case of acute poisoning due to bite of snake Dendroaspis viridis seems interesting to share because of its rare incidence inRussiaand management peculiarities: the critical care was ...conducted without specific antidote therapy due to absence of the antidote.
The prevailing clinical presentation included signs of toxic myopathy combined with paresis of skeletal and breathing muscles that led to development of acute respiratory failure and metabolic disorders. The processes described were induced by the action of snake poison dendrotoxins featuring the activities of potassium channel blockers and acetyl cholinesterase inhibitors.
The proper critical care included conduct of syndrome therapy aimed at maintaining life support systems adequately to condition (replacement of the breathing and circulation functions), antibiotic therapy and desensitizing treatment and metabolic care by administration of drugs characterized by antihypoxant/antioxidant mechanism of action.
The comprehensive therapy applied has resulted in a favorable outcome of acute poisoning by snake green mamba without development of possible complications even when the specific antidote drug has not been included into the treatment protocol.
The article analyzes treatment results of 482 patients of elderly and senile age with complicated colon cancer forms who were in the hospital for war veterans at the period from 2008 to 2014. The ...more frequent complication of colon cancer was an acute intestinal obstruction (76,8%). Peritumorous inflammation with abscess formation was noted in 13,5% cases, hemorrhage - in 5,6% tumor perforation - in 4,1% cases. The operations were performed by conventional methods and using endovideosurgical technologies in case of complication of colon cancer. Laparoscopic operations had less volume of intraoperative hemorrhage, lower rate of postoperative complications and reduction of the level of postoperative lethality. The rate of lethality was 31,18% after conventional operations and it consisted of 1,81% after laparoscopic surgery. Total postoperative lethality was 24,5%. The maximal level of postoperative lethality was noted in cases of colon cancer complications and it had an ultimate rate (100%) in cases of perforation of locally advanced tumor.

Results obtained from the acoustic sounding of a fine layered wind-field structure in the stratosphere, mesosphere, and lower thermosphere with the use of infrasonic waves from surface explosions and ...volcanic eruptions are given. These results were obtained using a new method of acoustic sounding of the atmosphere based on the phenomenon of infrasound scattering from anisotropic wind-velocity and temperature inhomogeneities into the zone of acoustic shadow. This method makes it possible to obtain data on the vertical wind-velocity structure and its time variability at lower thermospheric heights that are less accessible to other remote methods of atmospheric sounding, including both meteor (up to a height of 105 km) and satellite measurements.
