Transportation is important part of economics, and like other industries transportation is being under intensive automation, so there is hard request for improvement of navigation systems ...performance. One of the possible ways of such improvements is so called "cooperative navigation" which is based on joint processing of navigation parameters. Here we study a novel approach to joint processing of raw GNSS (global navigation satellite systems) measurements and resulting cooperative navigation of swarm of vehicles. Our approach is based on retransmission of received GNSS signals by a vehicle. Surrounding vehicles receive direct GNSS signals and retransmitted GNSS signals. Joint processing of direct and retransmitted signals leads to estimation of relative baseline vector between pair of vehicles. This can be done even with two GNSS signals, and that is very suitable for navigation in urban canyon. The obtained mutual baseline vector is used to track relative movement of pair of vehicles and to warn possible collision danger. The paper discusses features of proposed approach and relation between uncertainty of raw GNSS measurements and uncertainty of resulting mutual positioning.
This work presents an experimental investigation of class E power amplifier with parallel shunt network along with two similar amplifier obtained by adding series-connected parallel resonant tanks ...tuned for the second (class E/F3) and the third harmonics with duty ratio of D=0.33. The aim was obtaining of decreasing of maximum drain-source voltage together with high efficiency remaining. The experimental results shown about 0.6 W output power with 80% efficiency and reducing of drain-source voltage up to 2.5 times of voltage supply.
The Class-E power amplifier (PA) with shunt capacitance and shunt filter offers a unique design flexibility which can be exploited either to extend the maximum operating frequency of the PA or to ...allow the use of large active devices with high power handling capability. In this paper, a novel transmission-line load network is proposed to provide the drain of the active device with the required load impedances at the fundamental frequency as well as at even and odd harmonic frequencies. The concept is verified through simulations and measurements of a circuit prototype, which delivers a peak drain efficiency of 90.2%, a peak power-added efficiency of 82.7%, and a peak output power of 39.8 dBm at 1.37 GHz.
