Aim
. This study aims to compare efficacy and safety of direct oral anticoagulants (DOAC) with vitamin K antagonist (VKA) in patients with atrial fibrillation (AF) and chronic kidney disease (CKD) ...stages IV and V.
Material and methods
. We systematically searched the PubMed, Google Scholar, Web of Science databases from 1990 to 2022 and included all published studies that compared DOACs with VKA in patients with atrial fibrillation and chronic kidney disease stages IV and V. To search the articles, we used the PICO strategy: Patient, Intervention, Comparison, Outcome of Interest. Data extraction was undertaken by five independent researches, and then a meta-analysis was performed.
Results
. Out of all, 6 studies were included in the meta-analysis: 3 randomized controlled trials (n=353) and 3 retrospective analyses (n=37470). The efficacy of DOACs was comparable with VKA. In terms of safety, DOACs and VKA also showed no statistical differences: hemorrhagic stroke, major/minor/gastrointestinal bleeding, general mortality.
Conclusion
. In terms of efficacy and safety, the indicators of DOACs and VKA were generally comparable.
The VEPP-2000 e+e− collider has been operated in the Budker Institute of Nuclear Physics since 2010. Experiments are carried out with two detectors CMD-3 and SND. The calorimetry at the CMD-3 ...detector is based on three subsystems, two coaxial barrel calorimeters—Liquid Xenon calorimeter and crystal CsI calorimeter, and end cap calorimeter with BGO crystals. This paper describes the procedures of the energy calibration of the combined barrel calorimeter of the CMD-3 detector.
A cross section of the process e+e−→π+π−π+π− has been measured using 6798±93 signal events from a data sample corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 9.8 pb−1 collected with the CMD-3 detector ...in the center-of-mass energy range 920–1060 MeV. The measured cross section exhibits a pattern of interference of the ϕ(1020)→π+π−π+π− decay with a non-resonant process e+e−→π+π−π+π−, from which we obtain the branching fraction of the doubly suppressed decays (by G-parity and OZI rule): B(ϕ→π+π−π+π−)=(6.5±2.7±1.6)×10−6.

The cross section of the process e + e − → π + π − has been measured in the center of mass energy range from 0.32 to 1.2 GeV with the CMD-3 detector at the electron-positron collider VEPP-2000. The ...measurement is based on a full dataset collected below 1 GeV during three data taking seasons, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of about 62 pb − 1 . In the dominant ρ -resonance region, a systematic uncertainty of 0.7% has been reached. At energies around ϕ -resonance the π + π − production cross section was measured for the first time with high beam energy resolution. The forward-backward charge asymmetry in the π + π − production has also been measured. It shows a strong deviation from the theoretical prediction based on the conventional scalar quantum electrodynamics framework, and it is in good agreement with the generalized vector-meson-dominance and dispersive-based predictions. The impact of the presented results on the evaluation of the hadronic contribution to the anomalous magnetic moment of muon is discussed. Published by the American Physical Society 2024

CMD-3 is a general purpose detector designed to study e+e− annihilation into hadrons. It is mounted at VEPP-2000 collider which operates in the wide energy range, Ec.m.s=0.32−2GeV. The calorimetry at ...the detector is based on three subsystems: closest to the beam pipe barrel Liquid Xenon calorimeter, outer barrel calorimeter based on CsI scintillation crystals and the endcap calorimeter made of BGO scintillation crystals. We describe the structure of the calorimeters, their electronics and the energy calibration procedures.

A search for the process e+e−→η′(958) in the π+π−η→π+π−γγ final state has been performed with the CMD-3 detector at the VEPP-2000 e+e− collider. Using an integrated luminosity of 2.69 pb−1 collected ...at the center-of-mass energy Ec.m.=957.68 MeV we set an upper limit for the product of electronic width and branching fractions Γη′(958)→e+e−⋅Bη′(958)→π+π−η⋅Bη→γγ<0.00041 eV at 90% C.L.

Since 2010 the CMD-3 detector has been collecting data at the e+e− collider VEPP-2000 in the Budker Institute of Nuclear Physics. One of the main goals of experiments with CMD-3 detector is the ...precise measurement of the cross sections of the e+e− annihilation into hadrons. For a large number of processes the main source of systematic uncertainty in cross sections determination due to accuracy of polar angles determination of the tracks. Z-chamber is used for the reconstruction of the track longitudinal coordinate which is with low systematic uncertainty. The measurement of longitudinal coordinates is performed by the collecting of the charge which is induced on the strip cathodes of the Z-chamber. The algorithms of the reconstruction of cathodes clusters and calibration procedure are presented.

This paper reports a current status of the measurements of the hadronic cross sections in the c.m. energy range from 0.32 to 2.0 GeV with the CMD-3 detector at the VEPP-2000 electron-positron ...collider. The overall size of the data, acquired by the CMD-3 in the runs of 2010–2013 and 2017–2018 years, is about 160 pb−1. The results of data analysis for various exclusive modes of e+e−→hadrons are described.
