Summarization, is to reduce the size of the document while preserving the meaning, is one of the most researched areas among the Natural Language Processing (NLP) community. Summarization techniques, on the basis of whether the exact sentences are considered as they appear in the original text or new sentences are generated using natural language processing techniques, are categorized into extractive and abstractive techniques. Extractive summarization has been a very extensively researched topic and has reached to its maturity stage. Now the research has shifted towards the abstractive summarization. The complexities underlying with the natural language text makes abstractive summarization a difficult and a challenging task.
This paper presents a comprehensive review of the various works performed in abstractive summarization field. For this purpose, we have selected the recent papers on this topic from Elsevier, ACM, IEEE, Springer, ACL Anthology, Cornell University Library and Google Scholar. The papers are categorized according to the type of abstractive technique used. The paper lists down the various challenges and discusses the future direction for research in this field. Along with these, we have identified the advantages and disadvantages of various methods used for abstractive summarization. We have also listed down the various tools which have been used or developed by researchers for abstractive summarization. The paper also discusses the evaluation techniques being used for assessing the abstractive summaries.

Understanding of the phylogeny and interrelationships of the genera within the order 'Enterobacteriales' has proven difficult using the 16S rRNA gene and other single-gene or limited multi-gene ...approaches. In this work, we have completed comprehensive comparative genomic analyses of the members of the order 'Enterobacteriales' which includes phylogenetic reconstructions based on 1548 core proteins, 53 ribosomal proteins and four multilocus sequence analysis proteins, as well as examining the overall genome similarity amongst the members of this order. The results of these analyses all support the existence of seven distinct monophyletic groups of genera within the order 'Enterobacteriales'. In parallel, our analyses of protein sequences from the 'Enterobacteriales' genomes have identified numerous molecular characteristics in the forms of conserved signature insertions/deletions, which are specifically shared by the members of the identified clades and independently support their monophyly and distinctness. Many of these groupings, either in part or in whole, have been recognized in previous evolutionary studies, but have not been consistently resolved as monophyletic entities in 16S rRNA gene trees. The work presented here represents the first comprehensive, genome-scale taxonomic analysis of the entirety of the order 'Enterobacteriales'. On the basis of phylogenetic analyses and the numerous identified conserved molecular characteristics, which clearly distinguish members of the order 'Enterobacteriales' and the seven reported clades within this order, a proposal is made here for the order Enterobacterales ord. nov. which consists of seven families: Enterobacteriaceae, Erwiniaceae fam. nov., Pectobacteriaceae fam. nov., Yersiniaceae fam. nov., Hafniaceae fam. nov., Morganellaceae fam. nov., and Budviciaceae fam. nov.

Cancer initiation and progression is controlled by both genetic and epigenetic events. The complexity of carcinogenesis cannot be accounted for ...by genetic alterations alone but also involves epigenetic changes. Epigenetics refers to the study of mechanisms that alter gene expression without altering the primary DNA sequence. Epigenetic mechanisms are heritable and reversible, and include changes in DNA methylation, histone modifications and small noncoding microRNAs (miRNA). Disruption of epigenetic processes can lead to altered gene function and malignant cellular transformation. Aberrant epigenetic modifications probably occur at a very early stage in neoplastic development, and they are widely described as essential players in cancer progression. Recent advances in epigenetics offer a better understanding of the underlying mechanism(s) of carcinogenesis and provide insight into the discovery of putative cancer biomarkers for early detection, disease monitoring, prognosis, and risk assessment. In this review, we summarize the current literature on epigenetic changes causing genetic alterations that are thought to contribute to cancer, and discuss the potential impact of epigenetics future research.

Chemically synthesized silver nanoparticles (chem-AgNPs) have been assessed extensively to show adverse effects on plant cells but the role of biologically synthesized nanoparticles (bio-AgNPs) at lower concentrations and their toxicological impact on plant cells have not been sufficiently studied. In this study, bio-AgNPs were prepared using aqueous leaf extracts of Swertia chirata. This AgNPs showed absorption peak at 440nm of the visible spectrum. TEM analysis revealed that the average size of AgNPs were 20nm and mainly spherical in shape. AFM topographic images depicted the three dimensional aspects of AgNPs. XRD analysis confirmed the crystalline nature. FTIR spectrum of the AgNPs revealed the possible biomolecules involved in bioreduction and efficient stabilization of the particles. Low-dose of bio-AgNPs concentrations (5, 10 and 20μgml−1) were used for toxicity studies on Allium cepa. The studies revealed that various chromosomal aberrations were induced in both mitotic and meiotic cells of Allium cepa even at lower concentrations of bio-AgNPs. Abnormalities in post meiotic products were also observed. Both mitotic and meiotic indexes decreased with increasing concentrations of bio-AgNPs in the treated cells. These findings implied that low dose bio-AgNPs can induce significant clastogenic effects on both meristematic and reproductive plant cells.

Lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) is a terminating enzyme in the metabolic pathway of anaerobic glycolysis with end product of lactate from glucose. The lactate formation is crucial in the metabolism of ...glucose when oxygen is in inadequate supply. Lactate can also be formed and utilised by different cell types under fully aerobic conditions. Blood LDH is the marker enzyme, which predicts mortality in many conditions such as ARDS, serious COVID-19 and cancer patients. Lactate plays a critical role in normal physiology of humans including an energy source, a signaling molecule and a pH regulator. Depending on the pH, lactate exists as the protonated acidic form (lactic acid) at low pH or as sodium salt (sodium lactate) at basic pH. Lactate can affect the immune system and act as a signaling molecule, which can provide a “danger” signal for life. Several reports provide evidence that the serum lactate represents a chemical marker of severity of disease similar to LDH under inflammatory conditions. Since the mortality rate is much higher among COVID-19 patients, associated with high serum LDH, this article is aimed to review the LDH as a therapeutic target and lactate as potential marker for monitoring treatment response of inflammatory diseases. Finally, the review summarises various LDH inhibitors, which offer potential applications as therapeutic agents for inflammatory diseases, associated with high blood LDH. Both blood LDH and blood lactate are suggested as risk factors for the mortality of patients in serious inflammatory diseases.

The present study demonstrates the influence of LED irradiance of various wavelengths on shoot regeneration, biomass accumulation, photosynthetic pigment contents, and antioxidant potentials of ...Swertia chirata - a critically endangered medicinal plant. Mixed treatment of blue (BL) and red LEDs (RL) in equal proportion (1:1) significantly improved the shoot regeneration response. A machine vision system was developed to assess the shoot regeneration potential under different lighting treatments. Regenerated shoots exposed under BL:RL (1:1) exhibited higher biomass accumulation and canopy development compared to other lighting treatments. Improved canopy growth was evident from the increase in the area, major axis, minor axis, convex area, equivalent diameter and perimeter of regenerated shoot clusters. A higher correlation of dry weight (DW) was noted with the image feature, weighted density (WD) than the fresh weight (FW) in all the LED treated cultures. The significant correlation between DW and WD implies that the image feature WD can be adopted as a non-invasive approach for measuring biomass accumulation as well as detecting hyperhydricity. The developed machine vision approach provides a new direction in the evaluation of shoot organogenesis that displayed features including both shoot multiplication and canopy development. Chlorophyll and carotenoid contents of the regenerated shoots were found to be higher under BL:RL (1:1) than the other treatments. Supplementation of RL led to a reduction in the pigment contents. Spectral quality of lights also significantly influenced the accumulation of total phenolics, flavonoids and flavonols. Cultures exposed under BL exhibited the maximum accumulation of polyphenols. A similar effect of spectral quality was observed with the antioxidant capacity and reducing power potential of leaf extract. The findings demonstrate the ability of LEDs in inducing shoot regeneration as well as accumulation of phenolic antioxidants and suggest that the proportion of blue and red LEDs is an important factor in achieving the optimum response.

Mineral nutrients are fundamentally metals and other inorganic compounds. The life cycle of these mineral nutrients begins in soil, their primary source. Soil provides minerals to plants and through ...the plants the minerals go to animals and humans; animal products are also the source of mineral nutrients for humans. Plant foods contain almost all of the mineral nutrients established as essential for human nutrition. They provide much of our skeletal structure, e.g., bones and teeth. They are critical to countless body processes by serving as essential co-factors for a number of enzymes. Humans can not utilize most foods without critical minerals and enzymes responsible for digestion and absorption. Though mineral nutrients are essential nutrients, the body requires them in small, precise amounts. We require them in the form found in crops and they can be classified into three different categories： major, secondary, and micro or trace minerals. This classification is based upon their requirement rather than on their relative importance. Major minerals such as potassium （K） and phosphorus （P） are required in amounts of up to 10 g d-1. The daily requirement of secondary and micro minerals ranges from 400 to 1 500 mg d-1 and 45 ~tg d-1 to 11 mg d-1, respectively. To protect humans from mineral nutrient deficiencies, the key is to consume a variety of foods in modest quantities, such as different whole grains, low fat dairy, and different meats, vegetables and fruits. For insurance purposes, a supplement containing various mineral nutrients can be taken daily.

In a recent publication in PLOS ONE, Gabriele Margos and colleagues have questioned the division of the genus Borrelia into two genera on the basis that the differences in percentage of conserved ...proteins (POCP) between these two groups is >50%, which an earlier study has suggested as the threshold for differentiating prokaryotic genera. However, the POCP threshold is a poorly characterized and rarely used criterion for establishing distinction among prokaryotic genera. Detailed evaluation of the intergeneric POCP values for 37 genera from 3 different families (viz. Enterobacteriaceae- 24 genera, Morganellaceae-8 genera and Cystobacteraceae-5 genera) presented here shows that the POCP values for all genera within each of these families exceeded >58%. Thus, the suggested POCP threshold is not a useful criterion for delimitation of genus boundary and the objection by Margos et al. on this ground is invalid. Additionally, Margos et al. have questioned the specificities of ~15-20% of the conserved signature indels (CSIs) described in our work. However, as shown here, this concern is due to misunderstanding of the results and the CSIs in question are still highly-specific characteristics of the members of these genera and they provide important information regarding the evolutionary relationships of two new reptiles-echidna-related species viz. Borrelia turcica and Candidatus Borrelia tachyglossi to other Borrelia species. Results presented here show that both these species are deeper-branching members of the genus Borrelia and their placement within this genus is strongly supported by phylogenetic analyses and multiple uniquely shared CSIs with the other Borrelia species. Based on the large body of evidence derived from phylogenetic, genomic, molecular, phenotypic and clinical features, it is contended that the characteristics clearly distinguishing the Borrelia and Borreliella genera are far more numerous and of different kinds than those discerning most (all) other neighbouring genera of prokaryotes. Thus, the placement of these two groups of microorganisms into distinct genera, Borrelia and Borreliella, which clearly recognizes the differences among them, is highly appropriate and it should lead to a better understanding of the clinical, molecular and biological differences between these two important groups of microbes.
