Competitiveness is the critical factor to withstand in global markets. The commodity without competitiveness will defeat by other products with high competitiveness. Indonesian fruits and derivatives ...must have competitiveness to hold on in global markets. This research aims to measure competitiveness and analyze export performance through tropical fruits and derivatives. Normalize Revealed Comparative Advantage (NRCA), and Export Product Dynamics (EPD) are used in this research to analyze competitiveness and export performance. This research also used a time series of data to analyze tropical fruits competitiveness and export performance. The result shows that Indonesia is strongly competitive in mango, mangosteen, and guava in China, Malaysia, and Singapore. Bananas have strong competitiveness in Malaysia and Singapore, while rambutan, snakefruit and tamarind have weak competitiveness in the five destination countries compared to competing countries. Competitiveness advantages through the EPD calculation shows that the position of Indonesia's tropical fruit exports is in the Falling Star and Retreat position.
Penyuluh pertanian merupakan ujung tombak suksesnya pembangunan pertanian. Sejauh mana peran penyuluh pertanian terhadap produksi padi sawah petani adalah tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini. Lokasi ...penelitian di Tasikmalaya. Penelitian menggunakan metode sampling sederhana, Data primer diperoleh dengan wawancara dan observasi terhadap 68 responden petani padi sawah,,kemudian dianalisis menggunakan uji regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penyuluh berperan terhadap dinamika petani dalam memproduksi padi sawah. Penyuluh pertanian menunjukkan kinerja yang baik sebagai pembimbing maupun konsultan. Namun dalam hal penerapan teknologi belum mampu menggerakkan petani oleh karena kepemilikan lahan yang sempit. Demikian juga penyuluh sebagai organisator belum begitu berperan karena petani lebih mempercayakan ketua kelompok sebagai organisator. Dengan demikian dibutuhkan peningkatan peran penyuluh pertanian agar mencapai kategori baik atau sangat baik.
This research aims to understand the implementation of Problem-Based Learning (PBL) to improve students' problem solving skills. This research is a class action research model of Kemmis & Taggart ...which was carried out in three cycles, each cycle consisted of two meetings. The data were analyzed descriptively. The results showed how PBL on computer subject and basic networks can improve problem solving skills. Improvements occured in all aspects of observation. In problem solving skills, the average of cycle I was 67.75% increased in cycle II with an average of 76.76% and increased in cycle III amounted to 80.325%. PBL is able to improve problem solving skills with the steps: 1) orienting students to the problem classically; 2) organizing students to study in a group work of 4 people and the division of tasks for each member; 3) guiding individual and group investigations on the same topic, discussed maximum in two groups; 4) developing and presenting the work done in front of the class with more time allocation in the discussion session; 5) analyzing and evaluating the problem-solving process that focuses on re-checking the results.
Cabai rawit maupun cabai merah besar merupakan komoditas pangan pelengkap yang selalu dibutuhkan dan harganya berfluktuasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui preferensi petani dalam memilih ...komoditas cabai merah besar dan cabai rawit. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah Analisis konjoin yang digunakan untuk menganalisis preferensi 36 petani dalam memilih komoditas cabai merah besar dan cabai rawit hasil penelitian dari nilai kepentingan atribut antara dua komoditas tingkat kepentingan no 1 dan no 2 sama yaitu ketahanan terhadap hama penyakit dan prospek pasar, untuk urutan selanjutnya berbeda antara komoditas cabai merah besar dan cabai rawit, dari segi kombinasi level atribut nilai utility estimate antara kedua komoditas berniai berbeda sehingga dihasilkan uji korelasi yang dimana nilai signifikan pearson dan kendall''s cabai rawit lebih kecil dari 0.05 dibandingkan dengan cabai merah besarPreferensi petani responden yang ada di kecamatan Tamansari kota Tasikmalaya terhadap pemilihan komoditas cabai merah besar dan cabai rawit, petani lebih memilih komoditas cabai rawit dengan ketahanan hama yang tinggi, umur tanaman yang panjang, harga input yang tinggi, kemudahan memperoleh benih dibandingkan dengan cabai merah besar, serta harga yang tinggi dipasaran.
Food supply chain scarcity comes to the pinch and coerces us to make any food diversification for food security's sake. The eggs are one of the commodities to keep secure. Otherwise, the fish odor of ...duck egg often become caused by people less interest to consume duck egg. Instead, it has a higher nutrient composition than chicken as well. One of the alternate ways is Jintan leaf (Plectranthus amboinicus). Jintan leaf has the potency to eliminate odor sensory toward duck egg due to its bioflavonoid, phenol, volatile compound. This substance hypnotized could decrease and eliminate odor levels in duck egg. The research was carried out to know the most proper jintan leaf concentrations to eliminate salty duck egg odor. It used an explorative experimental method by Complete Block Design with three replication and continued by orthogonal contrast test to know which component is more prefer according to consumers. The odor of salty duck eggs decreased and began to decrease even at the 25-gram concentrate. Within the higher concentration, the higher decrease in odor sensory. For the economic aspect, we are not necessary to close in the highest concentration, but we suggest at the early odor sensory is disappeared, by 50 grams for 40 salty duck eggs. There is the other advance to further research, such as prolonging quality. This finding would be beneficial to producer and consumer and also researcher as the new variance of product.
