The Environmental Cooperation System (ECS) is a new exploration of the government's spatial environmental policy to meet the requirements of green and sustainable development, so it is very important ...to scientifically evaluate its green innovation effect. Based on China's A-share listed companies from 2006 to 2021, from the perspective of corporate ESG performance, we apply the multi-dimensional fixed-effects difference-in-differences (DID) model, and empirically test the impact, mechanism, and heterogeneity of the Environmental Cooperation System of Shenzhen-Dongguan-Huizhou Metropolis (ECS-SDHM) on corporate green innovation. It found that ECS-SDHM can significantly improve corporate green innovation, and the policy effect is more significant in the private enterprise group. Secondly, we use ESG rating score and decomposition indicators to deeply analyze the green innovation effect mechanism of ECS-SDHM from the perspective of ESG performance. The results show that ECS-SDHM can enhance corporate green innovation by significantly improving corporate ESG performance, environmental governance, and social governance. Further research found that both corporate environmental social responsibility and executives' overseas backgrounds can positively moderate the green innovation effect of ECS-SDHM by positively moderating the ESG performance mechanism.
The physicochemical properties and the contents of metals (Cu, Zn, Pb, Cd, Cr, and Fe) in 51 road dust samples from Xiandao District (XDD) were investigated. Enrichment factor (
EF
), multivariate ...statistics, geostatistics, and health risk assessment model were adopted to study the spatial pollution pattern and to identify the priority pollutants and regions of concern and sources of studied metals. The mean
EF
s revealed the following order: Cd > Zn ≈ Pb ≈ Cu > Cr. For non-carcinogenic effects, the exposure pathway which resulted in the highest levels of exposure risk for children and adults was ingestion, followed by dermal contact and inhalation. Hazard index (
HI
) values for the studied metals at each site were within the safe level of 1 except maximum
HI
Cr
(1.08) for children. The carcinogenic risk (
CR
) for Cd and Cr at each site was within the acceptable risk level (1E-06) except
CR
Cr
(1.08E-06) for children in the road intersection between the Changchang highway and the Yuelin highway. Cr was identified as the priority pollutant followed by Pb and Cd with consideration of the local population distribution. Spatially, northwest and northeast of XDD were regarded as the priority regions of concern. Results based on the proposed integrated source identification method indicated that Pb was probably sourced from traffic-related sources, Cd was associated with the dust organic material mainly originated from industrial sources, and Cr was mainly derived from both sources.

The authors herein described a time-gated fluorescence resonance energy transfer (TGFRET) sensing strategy employing water-soluble long lifetime fluorescence quantum dots and gold nanoparticles to ...detect trace Hg2+ ions in aqueous solution. The water-soluble long lifetime fluorescence quantum dots and gold nanoparticles were functionalized by two complementary ssDNA, except for four deliberately designed T–T mismatches. The quantum dot acted as the energy-transfer donor, and the gold nanoparticle acted as the energy-transfer acceptor. When Hg2+ ions were present in the aqueous solution, DNA hybridization will occur because of the formation of T–Hg2+–T complexes. As a result, the quantum dots and gold nanoparticles are brought into close proximity, which made the energy transfer occur from quantum dots to gold nanoparticles, leading to the fluorescence intensity of quantum dots to decrease obviously. The decrement fluorescence intensity is proportional to the concentration of Hg2+ ions. Under the optimum conditions, the sensing system exhibits the same liner range from 1 × 10–9 to 1 × 10–8 M for Hg2+ ions, with the detection limits of 0.49 nM in buffer and 0.87 nM in tap water samples. This sensor was also used to detect Hg2+ ions from samples of tap water, river water, and lake water spiked with Hg2+ ions, and the results showed good agreement with the found values determined by an atomic fluorescence spectrometer. In comparison to some reported colorimetric and fluorescent sensors, the proposed method displays the advantage of higher sensitivity. The TGFRET sensor also exhibits excellent selectivity and can provide promising potential for Hg2+ ion detection.

Autoimmune bullous disease (AIBD) is a severe skin disorder caused by autoantibodies that target intercellular or cell-matrix adhesion proteins. Currently, the preferred treatment for AIBD involves ...the use of glucocorticoids or traditional immunosuppressants. Additionally, the utilization of biological agents such as rituximab, omalizumab, and dupilumab is on the rise. However, effectively managing AIBD remains a challenge. The Janus kinase/signal transducers and activators of transcription (JAK/STAT) pathway has been implicated in various inflammatory diseases. In recent years, a range of drugs known as JAK inhibitors, which target this pathway, have been developed. Several studies have explored the efficacy and safety of JAK inhibitors for treating AIBD. Consequently, this review begins by examining the role of the JAK/STAT pathway in AIBD, summarizing the application of different JAK inhibitors in AIBD treatment, and emphasizing the importance of disease management in treating AIBD with JAK inhibitors. Furthermore, it highlights the need for a better understanding of the JAK/STAT pathway's role in AIBD, as well as the effectiveness and safety of JAK inhibitors for treating this disease.
Given the current shortage of kindergarten teachers, this study examines the relationship between empowering leadership and job satisfaction among kindergarten teachers in China from the perspective ...of their job characteristics and the Chinese cultural context. The participants were 557 Chinese kindergarten female teachers whose average number of years of experience was 2.82 (
= 3.02). They completed a self-report survey regarding empowering leadership, vigor, affective commitment, and job satisfaction. The study results show that vigor and affective commitment could mediate the relationship between empowering leadership and job satisfaction. Finally, we discuss the findings of this study in depth. At the same time, we suggest that administrators should focus on the empowering leadership of Chinese kindergarten teachers, strive to increase their level of dynamism, and finally, strengthen the emotional connection between the organization and the Chinese kindergarten teachers. Thus, we suggest that educational administrators should empower kindergarten teachers more, rather than allowing them to be mere enforcers. In addition, how to enhance the individual dynamics of early childhood teachers and their emotional connection to the organization may also be something for educational administrators to consider.
Microbial communities can be critical for many metazoans, which can lead to the observation of phylosymbiosis with phylogenetically related species sharing similar microbial communities. Most of the ...previous studies on phylosymbiosis were conducted across the host families or genera. However, it is unclear whether the phylosymbiosis signal is still prevalent at lower taxonomic levels. In this study, 54 individuals from six species of the fig wasp genus
(Hymenoptera: Agaonidae) collected from nine natural populations and their associated microbiota were investigated. The fig wasp species were morphologically identified and further determined by mitochondrial CO1 gene fragments and nuclear ITS2 sequences, and the V4 region of 16S rRNA gene was sequenced to analyze the bacterial communities. The results suggest a significant positive correlation between host genetic characteristics and microbial diversity characteristics, indicating the phylosymbiosis signal between the phylogeny of insect hosts and the associated microbiota in the lower classification level within a genus. Moreover, we found that the endosymbiotic
carried by fig wasps led to a decrease in bacterial diversity of host-associated microbial communities. This study contributes to our understanding of the role of host phylogeny, as well as the role of endosymbionts in shaping the host-associated microbial community.

Psoriasis is a chronic inflammatory skin disease with effects that extend beyond the skin. Insulin resistance (IR) has been associated with psoriasis, but it remains unclear how indicators related to ...the triglyceride glucose (TyG) index, which were associate with IR, are associated with the condition.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the association between psoriasis and three TyG-related indicators: triglyceride glucose-body mass index (TyG-BMI), triglyceride glucose-waist to height ratio (TyG-WHtR), and triglyceride glucose-waist circumference (TyG-WC).
Data from adults aged 20 to 80 years in the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) from 2003 to 2006 and 2009 to 2014 were utilized. Institutional Review Board approval and documented written consent was obtained from participants by NHANES (Protocol #2005-06). The patients were divided into three groups based on TyG-BMI, TyG-WC, and TyG-WHtR: Q1 (1st quintile), Q2 (2nd-3rd quintiles), and Q3 (4th-5th quintiles). Differences between the groups were further explored. Multivariate logistic regressions were used to investigate the correlation between these three indicators and psoriasis, with results expressed as odds ratios (OR) and 95% confidence intervals (CI). Subgroup analysis and supplementary analysis was further conducted to explore potential influencing factors.
The study included 9,291 participants, of which 260 had psoriasis. Compared Q2 and Q3 of TyG-BMI, TyG-WC, and TyG-WHtR to Q1, there were significantly associate with psoriasis. Among the three indicators, TyG-WC consistently had the highest OR values in Models 1 and 2 (Model 1: Q3 OR (95% CI) = 2.155 (1.442-3.220); Model 2: Q3 OR (95% CI) = 2.029 (1.341-3.069)). While in Model 3, the TyG-BMI shows more significant relationship with psoriasis (Model 3 of TyG-BMI: Q3 OR (95% CI) = 1.948 (1.300-3.000)). Similar results were observed in the majority of subgroups and in supplementary analysis.
This study identified a stable and strong positive association between TyG-related indicators (TyG-BMI, TyG-WC, and TyG-WHtR) and psoriasis. This association persisted even after adjusting for multiple factors. It is suggested that high IR is significantly associated with psoriasis.
The purpose of this study is to apply a multidimensional fixed-effects difference-in-differences (DID) model to empirically examine the impact, policy mechanism, and heterogeneity of Technologically ...Advanced Policy (TAP) on green innovation in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) based on the data of China’s A-share listed companies from 2004 to 2021. The results show that TAP significantly improves the green innovation level of listed companies on the small and medium-sized board, and has a more significant role in promoting technologically advanced enterprises (TAEs). The results of the policy effect are still robust after the placebo test, changing the dependent variable, and controlling for the influence of the environmental inspection system, the emissions trading system (ETS), and the carbon emissions trading system (CETS). Furthermore, we find that the policy effect of TAP is better in state-owned SMEs and SMEs in the eastern, central, and western regions. In addition, further research shows that the green innovation effect of TAP is mainly realized through mechanisms such as government subsidies, tax reduction, credit financing, and market competition. Moreover, state-owned SMEs have obvious advantages in the three mechanisms of government subsidy, tax reduction, and market competition, while private SMEs only have significant advantages in credit financing mechanisms. Overall, our findings show that TAP has achieved policy effects in promoting green innovation for SMEs in China, but state-owned SMEs still receive significant policy preference. It is recommended that future policy reforms favor private SMEs.
With the deepening of research on Large Language Models (LLMs), significant progress has been made in recent years on the development of Large Multimodal Models (LMMs), which are gradually moving ...toward Artificial General Intelligence. This paper aims to summarize the recent progress from LLMs to LMMs in a comprehensive and unified way. First, we start with LLMs and outline various conceptual frameworks and key techniques. Then, we focus on the architectural components, training strategies, fine-tuning guidance, and prompt engineering of LMMs, and present a taxonomy of the latest vision–language LMMs. Finally, we provide a summary of both LLMs and LMMs from a unified perspective, make an analysis of the development status of large-scale models in the view of globalization, and offer potential research directions for large-scale models.
